For some reason Ratchet's colors on that mold look much better than Ironhide's colors. It just fits better.

Also the wheels on Ratchet's butt don't look as bad since the pelvis piece is red, instead of like Ironhide that has a silver pelvis section with silver on the wheels.

The phenomena you mentioned is a holdover from our fight or flight mechanism back when we were supposedly protohumans with relation to visual and tactile stimuli (in other words, in certain colors, what makes it look barf is a warning of sorts while in other colors, comforting to the eyes or in reality your upper mental functions)

But I have grown to the look and and like both Ratchet and Ironhide. Could they have done somethings different? yes, but it still looks good. I'm liking them both has cowboys with the waist holsters

I always dug his head crest and it looks like they've done a good job with his head sculpt judging from these pics. BBTS has him slated for March last I checked which can't come sooner. I'm all about the MPs we have lined up this year.

Too soon

Like the fact he has some extra accessories and I'll get him for completion's sake. Ironhide is a joy and even tho u feel that those hips could've been done better, the mould is a must have, thoroughly recommended.
