The Firefly mold was used 3 times (Fire, sling, Blast) and this mold has only been used once. and this is a complete reshell, not just a change of head. That makes this very unique, like Nosecone being an extensive retool of Rook. Both pull it off and are using lesser used versions of molds (the jeep descendants of Rook are very different from him and now Nosecone)

It's a retool no matter how you spin it who cares how many times it has been used that is not the point.
I will never understand people's disdain over them nor the content boot licking Takara receives I don't hate Takara I hate the comparing between it and Hasbro and the poor reasoning of why Hasbro is always crap because it always is I mean when they try something new (Alpha Bravo) they get called a greedy uncaring company.
Yeah Takara has better paint or might get something done better but it does not mean that Hasbro is lazy.
Yes, it is a retool, but it is a retool of a mold used far less frequently. You should know I'm not one of the hard takara guys as I only own 2 takara things and have said before that Hasbro has done better paint wise with several of their combiners. And a reshell is usually much more exciting than a simple new head.
And while Hasbro has done some new stuff and also cut down on price, Takara has done some amazing things. Groove, Blastoff, Strafe, all guys that are new molds that we never got (save now we seem to be getting Groove) and that is exciting. mold fatigue took over us at the end of CW, and there was potential for more stuff to be done to multiple combiners (Devastator for instance) that hasbro just didn't do, which is disappointing. This is just showing it with how far Takara is going the extra mile. To me, this combiner has 2 brand new molds and all 6 have new heads and (save Lightspeed) brand new tooling too to make them more unique. There was potential, and while the hasbro offerings have been no where near bad, speaking from having all of them save Sky Lynx to date, it's just there is proof of the extra mile not taken
