Yes but Skywarp-2 does bring up some interesting possiblities. It wouldn't be totally out of line for Takara to release a Thundercracker or the rest of the seekers unless there is a specific agreement between themselves and Hasbro not to do so. We've not heard if this is a reality or not, we only know the Botcon exclusives will never be reissued to the public here in the States.

So while it could potentially piss off some collectors (I know I'd be hot if I bought the Botcon set) it could also be a smart business move for Takara.

If TakTomy do release the rest of the seekers, I'd buy em like that.

Can Takara produce figures used in Botcon?

Do the Hasbro deal apply to Takara as well?

I was not aware Classics wasn't available on Japan. Good for them! I wonder how the package will look and if they will give them a detailed background story.

I would love for someone to do that as a novelty toy for us to buy, like the wheelie and the scourge toys..he could be a cool version to fight Megatron from Beast wars.. he was always in the Beast wars shows but was hidden in Panda form.. he was there the whole time!!!! the golden disks an all the things that happened were because of PANDATRON!!!

BACK ON TOPIC THOUGH....the Classics would be a nice change of pace for me, finally I could get those..and then classics 2.0 will be wonderful...

lets just hope the Megatron gets this though...

Prime's a repaint, with black instead of blue & Starscream has remolded Missile launchers. Megs & Bee look the same as their US versions...

hmmm...why does prime's ion cannon look so mango colored?

Perhaps they repainted the cannon as well... Don't know why they'd give him a mango cannon, but hey, he's Prime; he doesn't need a reason.

This is a fun line, enjoy Japan!

seriously, why is it that Takara always ends up getting all the stuff that originates in the states, but they still hold out on us with the other stuff? granted, Super God Masterforce, Victory, and Zone may be a little dated, but I think there's still time to bring BW II and Neo stateside!

guys, takara will be/has been producing the classic/encore version of (some) movie characters only (movie frenzy maps to g1 soundwave). you get the picture. takara version of botcon seekers...ain't gonna happen. it's all business.

It would be, if Takara did the missing Seekers, Hasbro wouldn't be renegging on their BotCon exclusives

Have you thought of, I don't know, buying a can of model paint or two?

The wings are easily removable, just take out one of the pins. Boom, stability/green problem solved. Paint the purple on the legs over with black. Paint over the purple arms with silver or something and paint the eyes red. You're pretty much set.

Oh, and paint over the orange of course.
