That's what I figured. It's gonna be real interesting to see how he transforms. His entire torso is a crazy layer cake of kibble.

That's what I figured. It's gonna be real interesting to see how he transforms. His entire torso is a crazy layer cake of kibble.

Its more his back though, right? The front is pretty flat and is the front of his car, while the back has 2 layers, one being the windshield and the other being the tail end. With his legs hiding underneat the car and his arms at the side. That's how I see it, kind of like the Animated version but a bit more complex.

Pretty sure at this point it's safe to say Hotrod is a shellformer.

He's not since his entire torso is part of his alt mode. The point of a shellformer is that there is limited alt mode integration. So techinically, Hot rod cannot be considered a shellformer. Unless you see the universe datsun mold as a shellformer (which has been debated).
