Takara Tomy's official website has updated with four new movie-line figures: Battle Blade Optimus Prime, Battle Blade Bumblebee, Ironhide (Deluxe Class) and Insecticon. These figures will be released under the group name Autobot Alliance and are due to be released on the 28th of September.

I'm no Bumblebee-ologist but I'm pretty sure there's no changes. Aside from J-exclusive figures and, IIRC Breakaway, the Takara movie line has been unaltered.

Isn't the silver plastic on Ironhide different?

There is one significant difference: BB Optimus Prime has the face-ripping hooks instead of the blades of the US version. Before anyone retorts that's the Leader Class version, look closer, it's the Voyager.

That's why I don't really like BB Prime, it's too similar to the Leader Class version, hooks aside.

Insecticon and Ironhide are remarkably different. I might pick up both.

right right right, always forget about that guy. Thought there might be a homage to getaway I missed.

Insecticon's colours look pretty cool. I think I'll pick him up.

I'm not even going to tackle these Takara versions, mainly because the differences from their Hasbro counterparts don't seem to be too vibrant, and even if they are, I'm too used to their glaring Animated metallics.
