So just a moment ago I was scouting on ebay as I have been for some North American-O to sell a Takomy Vehicon when I saw this. What do you guys think, is this a scalper or a fan trying to make a fast buck or does it matter the individual? Just a thought though of the seller but would you pay this, I mean is the seller being realistic or just looking for that lucky screw? :VEHI:

Its a Jerk move...but, there is always someone out there who will gladly pay it. Not me :lol:

What a joke. The FE Prime stuff is a flash in the pan due to Hasbro not announcing their distribution plans, not encouraging people to pick then up right away instead of waiting on them, like usual.

They may be superior to the current P:RID in design, but I believe they will reissue the molds one way or another and people will have another shot at them.

But is someone needs them that badly they'll get bought.

So were the FE Prime toys ever actually distributed anywhere? They have never shown up anywhere in my region.

Wow... That's kinda extreme. I find the lot I have for sale way more reasonable in price. Yes, I started the listing at double the price I paid. But that 750$ lot is ridiculous. Mostly because the RiD stuff will come out pretty soon everywhere.

The US only saw FE Arcee, Bee and Starscream and the distribution of them seems to have been rather poor. I, personally, never saw them in the TRU near my house. I found them at the TRU near where I work. Picked up the last Arcee and there was only one other Starscream at that point (late November). When I went back a week later they only had Bee... 20 of them... if not more. No exaggeration. Didn't pop back in until right before x-mas (so 2 or 3 weeks) and there were none at that point. Haven't seen them since either.

I regret not asking a Canadian buddy of mine to pick the figures up for me in December :/

Canada and parts of Asia saw a full release (minus the Entertainment Pack in Canada) and Europe didn't see them at all. ((dunno where you live))

Not worth it, especially for the Hasbro editions. Takara's all look about the same and in most cases, far better (I have both versions of nearly every FE figure and have looked at them side by side).

The only exception may be Optimus, as the Takara version has a pinkish hue to his red, but we'll see if Hasbro's is more red or not shortly when I receive the one I bought off of ebay, but based on all the pics I've seen of him, he should be.

I guess I am a little unclear on one thing...

The line was cancelled for further distribution, but does that mean there is still remaining stock? boxes of packaged figures?

there has to be! It couldn't have been completely distributed. So why deny online retailers their orders? its a guaranteed sell. It just doesn't make much business sense to NOT sell your stock to the few that want it just because the big boys aren't ordering. Wasn't it going to be just a TRU exclusive line anyways? To me that's a horrible idea because they seem to be terrible at stocking the shelves w/ their own exclusives anyways.

There just seems to be to much that doesn't make sense surrounding Hasbro's decision. Im not going off the deep end about these figures, its just a simple situation of I want to buy some and now I cant. Its frustrating. :BANG_HEAD:

My guess would be that Hasbro wanted to make sure that everyone (especially the kiddies) buy the RID line now that it's coming out, so they had to cut off the FE line a bit earlier than expected to make room and ensure that few kids got the FE's so that their parents would buy the likely more profitable RID figures.
