Hmm. Other than the PCC pack, I am not familiar with any of those. I don't recall any of those being in Beast Machines. Though over the years I try my best to forget that atrocity of a series. Were these toys only?

Anyway, we're getting into a toys discussion, and we should stay on the movies, before we get mod-smacked. I, for one, hope that old white-ish rusty cab-over truck is Magnus.

This probably isn't the right thread, but I just wanted to state my opinion, but:

Lockdown and that robot with the orange on their chest, I got to say the designs are a little lazy. They are mostly gray and look very human like. Nothing sticks out about them.

I wish there was a some more color in there, large cannons, or some spikes or wings...

The Megatron looking guy could be Megatron risen with "Dark Energon" much like Transformers Prime? Although it should be purple, unless he is has risen to become Galvatron .... then orange would make more sense I guess? He could also be possible an evil Dinobot or that Black truck have been seeing (motormaster?)

if they are minions of unicron then maybe its part of the upgrade. megatron looked completely different after his transformation.

They were in the Beast Machines comics.

Interesting observations there.

I thought of an idea about Galvatron. Maybe its Megatron changed by some special energy source connected with the 5 weapons props we saw early on in the filming. Maybe Megs connects with this source of power and accidentally awakens the dinobots. Maybe the Dinobots were connected indeed with Shockwave's original visit to earth.

I do think that the dinobots might end up being either the inspiration for various cultures' dragon myths OR they will have forms inspired by said myths.

I can't really comment on Lockdown either way, other than I hope they get Lance Henriksen to reprise his voice over role from TFA. As for Gunface, whether it's Lockdown or not, I wasn't as blown away by it as most people seem to be. Is it an unexpected and therefore pretty cool concept? Sure. But it's also a little out there, to have of all body parts a face turn into a gun. Maybe it's not the full transformation we saw, only a part? I can see the head becoming the barrel if more of the body becomes the other parts of the weapon, but just to have a gun stick out of the face like a mechanical Pinocchio? Weird.

That's a good question.

They still have not cleared the confusion on this being Megatron or Megatron later being reborn as Galvatron as the toyline suggested.

Also we still dont know if these Dinobots will even have a Personality or be Animalistic being they would have no VAs to them. They could just be in there Dino Dragon Forms being Mindless Brutes.

While regarding this whole OMG that is a Predacon umm maybe not maybe these are just Ancient Cybertronian Dragons that the Decepticons found on Earth Hidden somewhere not necessarily brought from Cybertron.

I assume the Green Bot seen in the Skies was Crosshair to me he seems to be sporting a Cape. Also if I am not mistaken those look like Military Jets being shot down.

Gunface to me is way to big to be Lockdown but then again could be Lockdown we dont know what Lockdown will look like in is Robotic Root Mode. But we do know supposedly Lockdown is the Car.

On Ultramagnus or Motormaster maybe neither maybe this is a New Bayverse Character such as Drift or Crosshairs is. Keep in mind this live action not Animated these are Brand new for the film.

The Dragons are Sick to me I am getting a Transformers Prime kinda of a Vibe when I see these Dragons being similar.

Also right now regarding Unicron is purely Speculations these are from unconfirmed Reports. But I am saying if Unicron is in AOE then it could be handled like Thantos being in Post End Credits with Unicron being finally revealed for movie 5.

Those Ships are what caught my Interest I am agreeing with the others maybe those are the Quints be most cool to see them in the Bayverse Transformers done in a new way from Generation 1.

This is just from a 20 Second Trailer can you imagine seeing a 2 Minute Full Trailer. To me I think Mr. Bay has out did himself with AOE making up for DOTM.

I also prefer Mark over Shia keep in mind Mark has been in Action before such as Pain & Gain, Max Payne, The Perfect Storm also his Acting is much more Believeable than Shia is.

Nice Pick Bay going with Mark love his films I know he will do AOE justice. Cant wait for July.

Also AOE marks my official 30th Anniversary being 1984 to 2014 so this is also a Big deal for me.

Love the new Bots, Dragons, OP this being Megatron or Galvatron whoever he was he Makes DOTM Megatron look like a Weak Bitch in comparison.

I don't know. Other than the collar pieces, I'm not seeing a whole lot of similarities between the heads. Though, that could just be because the first frame of his face catches it in mid-gun transformation.

I hope the toy has a head-flipping gimmick of some sort so that he can have a gun face, though.

I'd consider ourselves lucky if they included that gun in toy form on the main line figure at all.

Best I can envision them working it in while conforming to the new push for simplicity would be for it to be a separate piece that one could attach to his head and cover over his face.

I think I've figured out why Grimlock has those horns on his head; must have bumped into this guy.

Me, I specifically like how these Bayform Dinobts look mean & diffrent & I also hope they will stand apart from any of the Animated Series.

These need to be done in a new way to be fresh & to fit into the Movie-Verse. You cant just say hey look we have Dinobots & Predacons in the Movie-Verse now.

I hope as AOE progresses we learn why we have Dinobots & Predacon Dragons in AOE, why are they on Earth, What are the Decepticons after, Why is this film called AOE it isnt called that just for no reason.

Just like with DOTM was about The Moon & the Dark Side of the Moon being the Pillars & SP I am betting this is similar could it be the Autobots being hunted to the AOE could the Mother of All Explosions finally due them in. Have they Been cut off from the Goverment.

To me based on the Trailer it dosent seem like the Autobots were fairing to good against these Bigger new Forces of the Decepticons & now with Megatron into Galvatron they have there work cut out for them especially if they have been Cut off from the Goverment. Then throw out the possibility of Unicron.

AOE has some good points going for it I am most excited & this will be a day1 must see Film. Along with Galaxy, X-Men & also Spiderman the only sucky thing NO RESIDENT EVIL 6.

I am curious as how the Yeager family fits into AOE, I am also curious on how Kelseys Villan will play a role. What about the Goverment where do they fit into AOE.

Has NEST been De-Activated, Will OP do the Opening Narration in AOE, what is the deal with those wierd Ships in the Trailer could it be Unicron Related or maybe even the Quints.

Have to say the dinobots look every bit as crappy as Ravage in ROTF. I expect their toys won't be much better. I'm sitting this movie out until it gets to redbox or the local library.

Grimlock looks like more like Dragonbot to me (yeah, I know from where legends about Dragom had came from), for me he shoul like less "Democinal". He was Bad-ass enough when he was a T-Rex.

I dont think he's Galvatron. Or at least, not right now. I'm waiting for some official confirmation, so for now he's "the Poster Bot" to me.

He should also have smaller fangs, Unless he is T-Rex/Vampire hybrid...
