Hi to all. Here are my views on Transformers Prime:
Takara AM-16: Jet Vehicon.
Or Jeticon as I like to call them. Big thanks to Andy at

It's quite long, so the short review is he's the same as the regular car Vehicon but with wings. Buy it!
But i'll try and tell you what's different as I can.
The Jet mode is the same length and width as the "Caricon" but with spikes giving it the edge.
It's all black and as it has stickers the only paint is 4 small purple marks on both sides. The Decepticon logo area is raised, it has a nice air intake at the front, redesigned rear and even a little landing skid!
There are 5 Micron ports on both sides and 1 peg and port under the wings. The Caricons weapon fits in ok, it's a shame it only has 1 gun unlike the jet mode in the show.
To transform you have to unclip the wings and then fold them up. Everything else is the same as the Caricon then. The only flaw is due to a different back piece the
rear will not fold down out of sight like the Car version.
The wings are nice and hard and don't drop. Nor are they sharp but no doubt Hasbro would make them kid safe if they did one and ruin it!
A pic of Robot mode with no stickers on yet. He's not as sleek as the Vehicon as the shoulder, arms and leg panels are all larger to match the Jet design.
Light piping is purple not red. I had a nice Cylon eye by accident earlier.
His main limb colour is a nice almost glossy plum. Not pink! It's a touch lighter than Takara AM Skywarp. The chest has a great metallic paint to it which pics up a shine nicely and makes it closer to the Season One images.
The wings bend right back, all the way to the sides or I prefer to angle them a little.
He can't clip the Car Vehicons gun to his arm but he can hold it as normal. The FE Vehicons weapon makes a nice arm blaster.
He comes with his Arms Micron partner, Igu, which transforms from a robotic iguana into a similar blaster as on the show. I believe it to be longer than the Takara car Vehicon Micron.
Iggy as he is now known actually looks like an Iguana kinda. If the RID is a machine gun then Iggy is the Shotgun or Bazooka version!
He comes in a nice dark gray which looks great with or without labels. Hasbro take note. Iggys labels really make it look like the show colour and show how nice some colour on the RID would be. I traced the grooves with a tooth pick to pick out the details.
Igu can be joined with Breakdown and Megatrons Microns to form a giant axe/hammer like.. thing.
He has 22 stickers, 13 of them for him and the rest for Igu. The stickers go in the same places the Caricon has paint apps. Legs, ankles, waist. So there's not much different there except the Decepticon logo has to go on top and not under his chest glass. He has metallic stripes on his wings, both sides and the nose area.
I recommend lining his ankle labels on the inside first as they are tricky. I rubbed his leg grate ones down with a tooth pick to pick out the details.
The rear of the gun extends back. It's a very long gun! With a small amount of bending and tweaking you can kinda make it look like it's coming from his arm.
Iggy makes a big cannon when mounted on the side of the jet too.
All together the Jet Vehicon is a great addition to the line! Really worth getting.
I will post a bunch of comparison pictures below as I have them.
