Then I suggest you revisit that IT BB thread & read all the replies. Because Almost everyone did give valid reasons on why they disliked the IT BB based off aesthetics. The comments some gave were it's smaller than a HasTak Legends sized TF toy. Sculpt is low. not enough Articulation. Too small. Doesn't look good posed next to newer HasTak toys in a similar scale. Looks outdated.

You were overly telling everyone to buy it. by demeaning there recent 3rd party TF toy purchases. openly mocking their income, mocking there jobs & budgets. saying stuff like if they can afford to buy a $300 3rd party toy like omega supreme, then they have to buy IT Bumblebee.

Even after some said they didn't like IT Bumblebee for valid aesthetics reasons. you further openly mocked them. by saying that they'd be all over this if it went on clearance.

Im talking about comments AFTER I brought the thread back from the dead asking if any new news had surfaced. That's when they all bombarded the thread with price complaints. Nobody bothered to simply say "I haven't heard anything new" until someone posted those new pics way after the negativity began. And the guy who made a complaint about the small size only said that as a reason to attack the price. I could give a crap less if any of them buy the figure. But I would bet that if it goes on clearance for 15 bucks at least SOME of them would buy it. Maybe I'm wrong about the whole coffee shop collector generalization. But what if I was right ? If I was to take a wild guess at who I might have inadvertently described, I would point to the person who got most offended. The truth sometimes hurts.

Wouldn't that have been me? I don't buy 3rd party transformers.

Well, my two cents on the original topic...

TFC is something of a mixed bag for me. More good than bad, though. Their Gears of War sets are both fairly good, although the first one, as mentioned, was a bit overpriced. I love the second set, though.

As for the two combiners I got, their Devastator and Superion... Devastator for me is the better. And worth what I paid for him. Overall when combined he feels... complete. I didn't need any add-on set for him. It would've been a nice bonus, but overall I look at him as he is now, standing in front of my four tiers of Classics shelves and think, "He's fine as is."

Superion, though... he needed that wings upgrade set for me to be fully satisfied with him. And that's not a good thing.

I'm skipping their Predacons, but am giving their Protectobots a chance.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

It was a generalization I made up and wasnt calling out anyone particular at the time. I was speaking in general because this 3rd party section has so many posters. the fact that you dont seem to be offended means youre most likely not like my generalization. Also the IT thread wasnt the first thread that I made comments about products that are cheap but people seem to be cheap as well. Check the mania king and boosticus threads. Im pretty passionate about that stance.

Striker, THANK YOU for replying regarding the original topic. Also, many thanks to all who have done so. Really appreciate the feedback.

Why is it that everything I've ever posted anywhere becomes a prick waving contest? :-?

I think TFC doesn't make bad products, but i think they could improve their engineering and planning.
I have Hercules and Uranos. Herc is the better of the two, in my opinion. He's stable, sturdy and feels complete.
Uranos isn't executed as good as their first one, due to the strange idea of the floppy drone-chestshield requiring the add-on set to make him look more like superion, and the ratchet angles of the hips and ankles, which is either straigth down or angled shaply sideways, a position he can't hold which will cause his legs to split even further. I do think that, with the chestshield and faceplate, he looks great. he's just unstable on his legs

All and all... Uranos is HUGE and for that I applaud. He's the most intimidating thing on my shelf. That said, even with the upgrade kit I still find him a little bland. I will likely sell him. The set seemed much cooler to me when I only had 4 of the 5 figures in robot mode. Nice posability and articulation in each figure but the combined form seems just a mess. I think this would have been way cooler had they addressed any issues during a QA process. I'll gladly accept a delay of release to have a better mold, figure, toy, etc.
