Agreed, plus, with this set in particular, the way they did the new combiner mode chest was strictly a response to the customizing/modding being done by some collectors who altered the way the chest transforms in order to make it look different (better?) and not use the figure designed to become the chestplate. There's no way they could have known about that in advance and then shipped it piecemeal. The gun sure, but definitely not the chest. At least not unless they held off on the last figure or 2 a lot longer (and likely raised the price for it/them).

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

Okat, the Harrier processed.
Is he an arm or leg?

lol.So it's the arm? Great. Why not the leg? *Sigh* Just like Hercules.
I think these can actually be swapped limb for limb, Scramble City style. Can anyone confirm?
On the other hand, the feet parts come with F15 and F16, so even if you can use Harrier as a leg, there'll be no foot...

Yeah. And this one's got the hand, so for me it's the arm and Superion is lopsided. Or hopping.
Put the hands on the feet. It'll look like Optimus Primal.

Unfortunately Phantom and Harrier can't be attached and legs and Eagle and Falcon can't be attached as arms. They aren't designed for a "Scramble City" setup.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Agamemnon wrote:RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Agamemnon wrote:RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Okat, the Harrier processed. Is he an arm or leg?

Also, I believe Falcon was originally scheduled for release first, so hopefully he will be released in a few weeks

I just shipped my pile of loot when Harrier arrived. One thing you guys with huge piles of loot should think about: Half of the stuff you got is out of stock now. So if you get a defective part, BBTS cant replace what they don't have. You'll get stuck with a refund and have to pay e-bay prices. I had to exchange my drone (chestpiece) because it wouldn't stay tabbed together. My collectors card for F-4 Fantom also was folded in haslf from poor packaging on the part of TFC. I got to BBTS quickly and got exchanges for the parts. Now these jets are out of stock, so I feel for anybody who has defective pieces waiting in their pile of loot. I also had an issue with Toyworld Grind Rod and even FOC Sideswipe. I learned never again to let stuff pile up for 6 months. Word to the wise...

I... think the chest piece not staying together is a basic flaw of it, because mine doesn't stay together either. Heck, that's why I ordered the upgrade kit for this guy.

The problem with my drone was that one of the wings wouldn't stay tabbed together in jet mode. It looked awful. The replacement drone's wings tabbed together just fine. I'm getting the upgrade set too, but I still want to get what I paid for initially. The drone is a cool little character. He just makes a crappy chest for G1 Superion.

I was lucky enough to snag a Harrier at TFCon and I'm totally digging it. Compared to the other 3 figures he feels the most well put together. Maybe I just got lucky this time, as with the other 3 I've had to make fixes or the paint apps have been a little sloppy, but no complaints with him so far.

I'm happy to hear that. I hope that is an across the board thing for a change with TFC.

I'm gonna wait for the Falcon and the Generations deluxe wave with Trailbreaker before I hit 'ship' on my current POL. It'll be nice to have a third combiner complete, even if I'm getting the upgrade kit to finish him off.

A ginormous PoL just came in yesterday.
I was waiting for Falcon, but once Harrier was in I pulled the trigger.
I'll ship this as soon as I get the last batch opened and sorted.

Landed in my POL.
So, Superion is 'mostly' complete. I'm getting that Wings of Uranos set to really finish him off for me. So that marks... three G1 gestalts 'complete' for me.
Superion.
Devastator.
Bruticus.
Four of the five Stunticons, three Predacons on preorder-MMC's version. Maketoys has a pretty cool Technobot set we've seen. So that leaves...
The Protectobots and Defensor.
The Seacons and Piranicon.
The Terrorcons and Abominus. And no, that Legion-class abomination does NOT count!
And maybe the Pretender Monsters and Monstructor.

Did anyone notice that TFC removed the hip plates on Harrier? I kinda like the way it looked with the hip plates on.
