It's a pretty good looking figure, but I simply don't see it as Superion for some reason so can't get excited for it.

Uranus is awesome. Im waiting for the last 2 jets before I ship my pile of loot. I would welcome a G1 add on set with better chest shield, new head with faceplate, and a better G1 gun than the one at BBTS. I also would consider buying a G2 repaint.

Think there are several people that would agree with you regarding an add-on set. The existence of these kits make me feel more like TFC didn't do the best job they could, as opposed to just giving options for their consumers. In that aspect, it feels a bit dirty but of course I picked up the Rage of Hercules kit proudly!

Finally started purchasing figures from this set, hope to be finished by end of 2013. Decided to give in to the idea that these guys might not be readily available (and/or discounted) once all 5 have been released... :-(

I guess that depends on who you ask. There are some issues in my opinion and some of the bits seem kinda brittle. I had a pin pop out during transformation, but everything still holds together OK.

I still feel they're worth the money, though I wouldn't object to TFC making more durable figures.

Seriously. I would bet good money that they had this and the "Rage of the Hercules" set for Herc planned from the beginning of those sets, and they're releasing the imperfect versions first to get even more money from the dissatisfied people who want their combiners to be more G1. They could easily have packed these upgrade parts in with some or all of the individual figures if they really wanted to give people "options", but "options" here means you get to buy it as-is or pay an extra $30 or so. *slow clap*

Nothing like doing it wrong the first time, only to release parts for an extra cost that make it look like it should have in the first place. It's a good thing I don't make enough money, because if I did... I'd actually support this.
