Hes too busy updating everyone elses Facebook pages with their own products because they dont do it after theyve set up a Facebook page and updating over at TFW2005!

I like the leg mode. Nice and simple and doesnt take a rocket scientist to break apart the combiner parts like FP motormasters trailer does. I could give a crap less about parts integration. I didnt in 1986 and I still dont. I own 4 combiners from my childhood and never lost a part. Parts boxes are the answer to life itself. :lol:

thats a good point. simple isnt bad. and FP menasor is the best example of over complex combining ive experienced so far. i like the results, but it made me long for TFC's simpler combining.

and while i appreciate the effort some designers put into integrating parts, its usually a fail. it doesnt bug me to have spare parts lying to the side.

I guess that puts me in a minority on here. I was raised on G1, with all of the associated quirks, and love it all, but my strong strong preferences are for all the figures to be in the correct scale in their vehicle modes, and for having all the extra parts for the combined mode integrated into the separate characters and vehicles. This is a big part of why the FP not-Stunticons are such a big win with me, even if they're not as much fun to actually transform due to complexity (for that, the Toyworld not-Throttlebots strikes a perfect balance for me).

I admit Groove looks better in color, but I'm still not liking the overall figure.

If he is the only weak link, I'll be in for these guys, but I'm still waiting for the other 2 to show.

That's not always possible, especially in a team where one limb is a motorcycle and one is a helicopter. I'm perfectly OK with "Transformers scale" where the bot modes scale. That's how I explain away minibots like Powerglide and Warpath.

I also prefer parts integration. I like when designers take the time to integrate the extra bits somehow. I gave a bit of a pass for the Aerialbots. There is little room on a set of planes to hide parts, and I thought the idea of flight stands was clever. With these guys, there is a big firetruck in which to put spare parts, and maybe they will. We have not seen too much of Hotspot yet.

I went ahead and preordered him and not-Cy-Kill together. Should be a nice motorcycle-themed parcel in the mail in a couple months.

Okay, I own 'Gumball', who I will call from now on the name we all know he's supposed to have, Streetwise.

Robot mode's pretty good. Nothing spectacular. Chest is loose, no way for it to clip together. Transformation's a bit of a pain. Folding the legs over was a royal chore. Getting everything lined up was tough.

Combined mode... it's a car stuck on top of a foot.

The rifles and this odd black connector thingie are left over. I don't mind that, to be honest.
