I think I've made myself clear in passing that I have little to no faith in FP after my long term experiences with their product, hence I have no doubt that Menasor is still a disaster in progress. The ONLY thing I like about them any more is their aesthetics, and MT not only hits the mark just as well in that regard, but have yet to give me any reason to believe their stuff is anything but solid.

hm.. Kinda strange just realize No reviewers have advance copies of any TFC stuff. Guess everyones going to have to wait till someone jumps in before they'll be any reviews.

Looks like his vehicle mode is standard deluxe size. Good. I was very worried it'd be too large.

All in all, it does need Reprolabels, though.

If this was a Hasbro offering at about $15, I think I would be all over it. But for the money TFC is charging, I'd expect some better paint applications, at the very least.

(Is that black Monte Carlo looking car on the left one of the repaints of Downshift from Cybertron? I only have the Green MOPAR looking Downshift, and it's not nearby for a comparison. I don't remember the Engine looking like that.)

You are correct. That's Big Daddy, one of the non-movie figure repaints for the first movie.

And yes, the engine is that massive in the original too, it's just coloured in a way that doesn't stand out as much.

Ah, that's right! Thanks. I remember now that I loved the alt mode, but the orange in bot mode was a real turn off, so I never picked him up. Thanks, Mkall!

Im very happy with TFCs new deluxe size figure that scales so well with hasbro figures. This is the size FP should have made their stunticons. TFC is learning finally...

The car size does seem to fit very well. I'm just not into what they did with Groove.

Agreed. I'm normally proactive with TFC & get them as they come out but not with this set. I want to see it finished 1st.
