It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

I'd much prefer it were Maketoys, but given they're busy with the Technobots I suppose that's too much to hope for. If FansProject does do a Protectobot set then once again I can only say if First Aid looks good I'll get him, otherwise I can't deal with another FP combiner failure.

I don't think Menasor was a failure at all but I too would prefer MakeToys. Let FP focus on their Headmasters.

I think I've made myself clear in passing that I have little to no faith in FP after my long term experiences with their product, hence I have no doubt that Menasor is still a disaster in progress. The ONLY thing I like about them any more is their aesthetics, and MT not only hits the mark just as well in that regard, but have yet to give me any reason to believe their stuff is anything but solid.

You are correct. That's Big Daddy, one of the non-movie figure repaints for the first movie.
And yes, the engine is that massive in the original too, it's just coloured in a way that doesn't stand out as much.

The car size does seem to fit very well. I'm just not into what they did with Groove.
But I'm super happy with my other TFC figs, so I'll probably cave and get these, but I want to see the rest of the crew first.
