I had no doubt you'd hook him up.

First Gen wrote:Well, hopefully Tiger will find the spare Skyfall for me. Ebay has him the cheapest at 90 bucks buy it now but shipping added makes it 120.00.

I guess I should really blame you, Counterpunch, for this as I didn't care for anything Energon before meeting you. Now I can't get enough of it.

Damn u Counterpunch, DAMN U!!!!!!! :o)

Possibly the funniest conversation at BotCon 2008 concerning the Energon line...

Except perhaps the cancer one-upsmanship, but I think everyone though we were jerks until Geekee1 and I started laughing about it.

Good times yo! That was funny! Everybody was just looking at us wide eyed, like how can you be making jokes about that! The answer is because we're awesome.

If ever you wish to truely enjoy the Botcon experience, beg CP and Geekee1 to crash on their hotel floor and make sure you drink with them.

I lived 2008 vicariously through the most awesome purchases of these two.

Oh, and Muffin's Lockdown incident. lol man that was awesome.

The prices for skyfall on ebay are just silly, but demand drives costs. I've been in 2 auctions where it was under $30 until that last day where they both jumped up to ridiculous prices.

I've tried contacting the club to see if they have any returns or damages that can be cobbled together. I was told that they'll look but no further word so far.

For the record.

I just acquired a Skyfall this morning along with Breakaway so my Nexus is effectively complete.

Big thanks to Mkall and First Gen who helped keep an eye open and let me know a few options.

I, too, will have a complete Nexus Maximus soon, thanks to a certain News Administrator here at Seibertron.com. I got Breakaway and Landquake yesterday from the TFCC, ridiculously fast shipping from the club via Priority mail.

So I have the four piece I do have together sans one arm. I have Breakaway as a leg now but will move him to the arm slot one Skyfall shows up.

I will post pics of the completed gestalt with his arch nemesis in the making, Classics Devastator.

Now my only issue will be that my energon Superion (now sporting the FP kit) will look better.

I might have to put them in different rooms. 8)

Cool I've seen him at AA this year and have to say he's the only half translucent TF I would consider getting.

Yea CP can be pretty convincing on selling you something, that's why I have to wait another 2 weeks till I can finally put a classics UM in my City Commander.
Which means I've had a trailer for a toy for a about a year before I actually got the toy. UM is my City Commander upgrade. :P

This just further proves my point, CP convinces you to get something - if you like it or not!

Damn two more weeks till I finally get my greasy nerd fingers on a Classics UM!

Today, Nexus Maximus performed Reunification when Skyfall busted out of his bubble wrap to join his team (Yeah I know Skyfall is technically dead but he's gonna come back some way). Here are the pics as promised. Sorry they were with my cell as my cams battery was dead.
