It's no secret, really. I did everything at once. Well, technically, from Raindance to Feralbrawn was all done in one pic, and Stormflash, Silverblade, Frostbite, Snowfire, Wildstrike, and Blaze were added in. But there was really no copy and pasting, just one base layer of lines and a loooooot of color layers underneath, cel shade style. 50-60, if I guesstimated things right. @_@
Hm, probably all of the mechanical looking ones (Raindance, Aquila, Raider, Windy, and Aurora), except for maybe Silverblade. She's a Transmetal-ish design to begin with... Aurora'll probably be a white lioness (or I could turn her back into a Toucan. Hehe, that was her original BW form...), Raider a Giganotosaurus (if there's ever a Gigano added into the game. Until then he'll stay dragon), Windy... will still be a dragon, albeit an organic one, even though her BW form is technically a pterodactyl... Aquila already has a BW design. As for Raindance... I wanted to base her off one of MacFarlane's dragons, and possibly the same for Blaze, since this guy looks positively awesome.

I thought so; I do seem to prefer "unique" looking Transformers, don't I? I particularly like how Zinou, IMO, made her facial features look fairly vauge as to her gender; she could be female, or she could be a youthful male.

I half expected Zinou to make her Zoid's hind legs her robot legs; just seems easier honestly. I gave Zinou permission to post this work on her DevArt page and I hope she does; she did awesome work on what I believe is one of the few crossover peices she's done.

Novacula's in the works as we speak (he'll be number 9), Darkwylde's been done I think but I'm thinking of getting a new peice done on him. That leaves Sea Wolf and Lohikaarme who haven't been given form yet, and I'm not going to have a team commission without the dragon.

Does anyone happen to have scans of the DW G1 MTMTE profiles of Chromedome and Crosshairs (pages 052 and 077 of the Volume 1 TPB), by any chance? I'm hoping to finally complete the last two recolours I need to finish off my team before V2...but I don't have a scanner any more due to a series of misadventures involving gravity and heavy objects.
