Well..maybe more than a few..but only one team!

Apollyon on the other-hand, he's hard to quit. As it stands, he's the most complete MP Megatron we've received (and currently available!). Odds are, once the TT version is released, I'm putting him in fully setup alt mode and never transforming him again. Until then though, he's still my MP Decepticon leader!

Yup! Crazy right? No limbs at all! I've probably held each one in my hands on card in the store, just never pulled the trigger. I kinda had the idea that I'd pick up the Protectobots and Aerialbots (had them G1), but never got behind Rook and Alpha Bravo. And then the Stunticons as I never had them, but never got behind Off Road. By then it was too late for most at retail in my area. Now the Combaticons are out in force. And at least Blast Off is still there, although he's a harrier (which works, cause VTOL is kinda "blasting off"..). I really want him in shuttle form though, but now that I have Onslaught I'm not going to buy UW Bruticus even though he gives me all the Starscream's Brigade feels.

You can always still get the Takara ones. You dont have to bust your balls with those, they come with all the right members in toon accurate deco and at least Bruticus, Superion and Menasor are not exclusive.

I think you're right my friend! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the Combaticons first, maybe have legends Starscream pointing Bruticus in a direction, and I already have legends Shockwave for a gun too! The way the discount retailers have been in my area though..blah. HTS may be my purchaser of choice for some of them.

I actually am having a lot of fun with Onslaught and Shockwave. Fun figures to pose and transform quickly. They don't seem to be cheaply made either, which is a plus. I feel like the Titan Masters are souring my experience, even though I want all of them. They just don't stay in place well. Yet off I go to Walmart (tomorrow) to pick up the Autobots of wave one deluxe!

Optimus Prime (which you already have, so you've got a head start)

While I agree about most of them (looking at you Sunstreaker and Wheeljack :-x

), I actually really like Smokescreen and would have included him, but didn't want Cram to have two of the same mold.

And while those guys might not be my favorite mold wise (well, besides Hound/Rook and Prowl/Streetwise, as those are my favorites of the line), they provide cool abilities:
Hound: Hologram projection
Trailbreaker: Forcefield
Mirage: Invisibility
Prowl: The ability to track 800 moving objects at once (apparently)

Combine (heh heh) those with Prime's Matrix of Leadership, and you've got a pretty dang awesome combiner.

That's pretty funny. I already thought of picking up Trailbreaker as I'm not completely sold on the Generations version I have. And that Hound probably isn't as loosey goosey as my Universe/Generations one, and I don't have a Mirage figure at all anymore..maybe I will.

But not to combine :-P

That's very insightful!! Dang Enigma of Combination influencing the abilities, like the episode Heavy Metal War when Megatron absorbed his Decepticons' power chip rectifiers!!

That's why when you're building a combiner, you use Outliers.

That eHobby one compliments the original well. The original may need some new stickers via Reprolabels though. I mean, most of my G1 stuff could use new stickers!

See, the way my unique combiner works, it actually has 3 of those 4 limbs, with Smokescreen instead of Prowl since all 4 of those are Lost Light crewmembers. And then Cyclonus as a torso.

that really works out since: Smokescreen and Mirage as legs produce a fast combiner, and with the power of invisibility and smokescreens, it makes seeing this combiner impossible. Then you have Hound with the holograms and bulk for a left uppercut worthy of any slugger, and Trailbreaker as the right arm for Forcefields galore, and again some bulk. And then you have the tactician, cool under pressure and knows no fear as the torso. Put it all together, and you got a nearly unstoppable combiner.
