Hooray Combiner Wars!!

I'm really digging this guy. He's definitely not without his faults though. Possibly my favorite assembled combiner yet!! I hope to have 4 total of the scramblers.

I may be missing something (first time handling the mold and I don't use instructions on these guys unless I am reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally stuck), the torso shoulders don't lock/tab in to place anywhere? I know G2asor has some back tabs on Motormaster that need floor polish (as do a ton of joints, including the hips on the car bot Stunticons and jet bots here). The bird neck goes limp and hangs where it shouldn't.

Boy howdy..those built in ankle tilts with the G1 feets look are dope!!

So, in short, totes worth $82!! Can't wait to tighten things up on all of my Combiner Wars figures. I definitely need to get everything I have together, assemble into limb/torso, check clearance/tabs/joints, and floooooooooooooor polish!!

Tampos and other paint apps are perfect!! The black HFGs are dirty though? like, dusty and dirt on them? Fresh out of the box..weird..everything was sealed and plastic tagtied down.

I've only had Sky Bird in torso mode once and he was limb less. I don't think they peg anywhere though. If no one else answers I'll check when I get home.

The torsos tend to be a bit floppy here or their for one reason or another. Most do peg in one way or the other for the shoulders though.

I'm digging the hell out of that head sculpt.

There's a lot of missed tabbing opportunities..and I've just been winging it as far as everything goes together. Those built in feet work pretty dang well, and there's that mid leg bend that can kind of work as a knee..gonna rotate that around right now!!

Whichever you want, honestly. If the feet are backward, you can use Sky Lynx's knee as a secondary knee joint.

I find the feet folded down like in Curt's pic, help to stablize the shoulders. I also dig how, since they don't peg in, they offer a little more shoulder articulation. For that chest puffing braggadocios action!

To answer Curt's question about the legs, I go feet to side to alleviate him from having an extra knee joint in his thigh, but it's up to the user really.

Speaking of wagons, glad you finally caught a ride on the Combiner wagon! ;)^

I've got the feet under the shoulder joints like that, and currently have the leg feet towards the back. So many feet you wouldn't believe. I'm digging the butterfly-esque joint for the shoulder area though, that's gonna be pretty noice if we get that mace weapon thingy doodle!
