As far as official Matrix's go, MP mold-wise, there's 3. MP-1 (plastic, opens), MP-9 (tiny, doesn't open, diecast?), and MP-10 (diecast, doesn't open).

And there's a million variants of each.

Then (moldwise) of actual removable versions, I think there's the diecast Matrix that originally came with New Years Convoy (chained, no color), Big Convoy (plastic), Cyb/GF Prime (plastic)......... oh hell

I know the only diecast one I have is the Hasbro TRU MP10 based Optimus Prime. I'm pretty sure MP9 did come with a tiny diecast matrix! I'm not looking at the link, I'm winging it!!

You know what? I should make that a goal. Anyone who was a matrix holder I need a figure of, with the matrix.

Speaking of Matrix..my favorites that fit inside of bots that I own. Pretty sure I've jammed that MP1 sized one inside MP1 before.

I think if I had the trailer for MP Rodimus, I wouldn't buy DX9 Carry. But I don't, so I'm waiting.

There's some that have the look of the Matrix, and then some that have the Matrix chamber around them in the coin display.



So anywho, who wants to talk collection shifting?!

I say this because the dang MP figures I have are so awesome that I want more, and some of my old old figures are so awesome I want more, and then there's a bunch of stuff that's just filler. And then there's the figures I have to "complete a set" like the Autobot and Decepticon Headmasters, the Decepticon Targetmasters, the TF:TM cast (still need a Wreck-Gar as I foolishly parted ways with him), the Ark bots (which are seeming to be filled out on the MP side but also mixed in with fillers like Alternators or Generations) and that is satisfying and disappointing at the same time.

I think I need to break out Energon Galvatron to see if he should stick around..terrible thoughts!! He does have a slightly weakened cannon arm. Hmmmmm..
