I remember when he was first released and everyone wanted one, myself included. And a staff member at the time sent an e-mail to all staff asking if anyone wanted one as they were heading there and would pick them up for anyone.

I said yes.

They never replied. (But I know other staff got theirs!)

I'm not too fussed now, I'm over the movie aesthetic. Like Va'al, I'm preferring the more simple stuff todays lines have.

Alt mode looks epic. I also love that blue. Reminds me of Sharpies.

I may like the CG design for Evac, but in toy form the legs and arms just look a bit goofy to me in comparison to the beefy chest. Like looks like Bumblebee forgot leg day one too many times. I do think some of the movie character designs are brilliant though such as the TF2007 Barricade design, and of course Peterbilt Optimus Prime.

By the way, isn't this just brilliant?

Steelers won 18-16. KC went for the 2-point conversion, got it, but was penalized so had to retry and missed, giving the game to the Steelers.

Packers beat the Cowboys in a nailbiter. Both games were awesome yesterday!

I was shocked to find him at retail. Even saw my first leader class figure at retail in the form of Blaster. My walmart had wave 3 titanmasters and legends, but no deluxes voyagers or leaders.

He's pretty swell actually. I'll snap some pics later tonight, but the Sharkticon mode is so cute, awesome, bitey, and cute. The robot mode is sort of shite with the fact that he has no back as the shark head ends up on his feet, but the shark mode wins it all!

Ok, so my haul today was filled with simple little trinkets designed as novelties and little kiddy stuff right?

Well, I must not have grown up too well. I am in love with these.

Firstly, PrimeStrong is absolutely wonderful. I love him(?) in his combined mode. The vehicles are a little shoddy and the robot modes are too (Prime is aweful, though Strongarm is decent), but the combined mode just looks so good. I love it. And it is a blast to keep ramming them together. I've been doing it constantly since I got them! They were purchased at Walmart

Next came Sideswipe. The only RiD Sideswipe I have is the clash one that uses the flawed warrior mold, so I wanted a good Swipe. And lo and behold, at Target, he was on sale. Bam!

I already have Anvil, so this one will just be a spare standing there

...or lying there

And then comes the novelty from Walmart as well. I spent 5 minutes checking the little peep holes to find a Sideswipe, and I love this little guy. He's cute. He can't stand that well in robot mode, but he is adorable. and the Transformation is so much fun!!

And finally, from 5 below, we got us some minicons. I'm glad to have gotten Forth and Ransack, as they complete my minicons pairs. Swelter is now alone seeing as how they didn't have Glacius, but Swelter is now my favorite minicon, so that isn't an issue. He has flame thrower arms and an awesome head!

RiD Swipe is the only one who can hold any type of pose, but I love the whole haul. Plus, the whole thing ended up being only just over $40, so it was a great day.

Wish i could have found Springload, but that one will have to wait I guess.

Also turned down Beeside. Sideswipe just doesn't make a good set of legs. PrimeStrong works, Beeside not so much.

But hey, given that we will be seeing a combiner that uses Bee, Strong, Swipe, and Grim, maybe we'll get a fun combiner out of it! I really want a good combiner or 2 from this Combiner Force deal!
