Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Cobotron wrote:D, did you mean to post that AWESOME photo comic in the Takara Legends thread. Seems an odd place to post it. It was really fun though!
It's fine. I know nothing of Japanese HM fiction, so I guess that's why I was confused.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Cobotron wrote:D, did you mean to post that AWESOME photo comic in the Takara Legends thread. Seems an odd place to post it. It was really fun though!
Yeah, I was going with the Headmaster's version of their personalities, so I thought it would work best there. If it doesn't I can just move it somewhere else

*sighs with relief*

D-Maximus_Prime wrote:So serious question: is it natural to feel burned out by Transformers at this point in time? I am super stoked for the movie figures, but the Titans return line has hit a sort of stale moment for me. Like, there are many good characters getting toys, but I'm feeling burned out with them. It feels unoriginal and very repetitive. I don't want to be burned and I want to get the figures, but the excitement just isn't there.
It's probably not helped by the poor distribution, but Titans return has gone stale for me

WreckerJack wrote:Sometimes you just need a break. That's normal. It's part of the reason I am very picky about my figures and only get a couple per line.
Plus sometimes I drift from hobby to hobby. I might get stoked on TF's for a week or so and then the next week I will be all about baseball, wrestling, yoyo tricks or something else I really love. Of course I do make time for TF's when something interests me but I try not to overdo it.

I saw that you haven't found any Wave 3 in the TR thread, same here, I haven't seen anything above Legends. But I just stopped caring about that Wave. Either every figure has a better version coming from somewhere or it's not something I need.
Megatron-MMC Tyrantron
Hot Rod-MMC Calidus/SXS Hot Flame
Triggerhappy-Misfire
Getaway-A. He looks like Chromedome and B. I've heard he may be Calidus' repaint/retool
And I can do without SixShot and Twinferno. Also it helps if you have another hobby to go to every once in a while. I get a lot of Star Wars and a decent amount of Marvel to split up my money, which keeps me from getting burnt most of the time.
Sorry for the novel btw

I'd say yes. I felt that way about CW towards the end, and I'm completely over RID. I'm felling ya on the mold reuse, that wore me out and had me change my TR strategy. There were some figures I had signed off on but have since picked up. I was considering going the 3p route, but after getting Triggerhappy, Hot Rod and most surprising to me, Twinferno, I'm feeling very enthusiastic about the regular line again. I highly recommend all three, btw. Twinferno's TM is by far the best and also a fun figure with a rock solid bot mode, Triggerhappy is just an amazing piece of engineering and awesome in both modes (alt mode is crazy clean) with Hot Rod just being a solid and fun TF (doesn't hurt how sexy his alt mode is).D-Maximus_Prime wrote:So serious question: is it natural to feel burned out by Transformers at this point in time?
