Hmm, well that would keep the same molds, but I can't really get Streaker to be Cheetor. I was kinda thinking either Trailbreaker, Air Raid or maybe some other Aerialbot. I'm just not really sure.

I mean, I really like Trailbreaker and air Raid and their molds, just a matter of trying to explain it to myself. Would be easier if they showed up in the comic. :MAXIMAL:
Why not Streaker as Cheetor? He's yellow. He's fast.
What about Swindle as Rhinox. Rook would be a cool Rhinox, but wrong colors.
Any of the Aerial bots could be Silverbolt, or Airazor. I like that idea. Or Blast Off as Airazor.

I don't know, but this is a fun game! :P
But you don't need a comic to tell you, Use that awesome imagination you keep in your noodle.

Tell you what though, that Unit 3 was super cool looking. I slightly regret not getting him, but all the monies.

Yeah, I just can't afford to get him and Tigatron. I'm hoping to win those stickers, but we'll see. I'm also looking at the cheapest other limb options, and unfortunately all the Aerialbots and protecobots seem to have gone up a fair bit in price most places, so I'm not sure yet.

I'd also like some degree of uniformity. And it's not that I'm looking for Beast Wars guys that I can call one of the combiner wars guys, it's more I'm looking at combiner wars guys i could more see getting into beast wars and actually becoming a Maximal. Though cobs you have some nice options! :MAXIMAL:

Hmm I am tempted to get RTS Grapple. I think he'd go well with the Constructicons later. I'd have to pay almost 40 USD at least though. AT least that's how much on TFsource. I might not be able to get him in time though.

I only see one loose for 30$. Have you ever tried Transformersland? Maybe you dont mind overpaying for instant gratification, many collectors do and thats cool. But if you'd like to pay what an item is worth, then e-bay and transformersland are more fair. The toy hasnt gone up in value much from retail, he should be between 25-30$ mint in box:

Hey that's I mold I've been eyeballing for some time now. I used to want the Hotspot repaint, but I'm happy with the CW flavor.

@anyone: Is this a mold worth tracking down and other than Hotspot, which deco would you recommend?

Now, hopefully someone doesn't steal this one from me!

I wouldn't mind having the Inferno version of this mold instead though. I can't find him for a good price however.

I preffer this mold over hotspot. What they did with Inferno and hotspot is a bit weird. That appendage looks off. I know its a hose, but I would have preferred a ladder. And since he has exposed hands, it doesnt hide them well. Grappel's is better. Its this really long crane appendage that fills out the vehicle mode better. Plus, it can extend. That mean the bot mode can get a loooooooooong reach

Its a good mold all around and one of my favourites. But guys, try not to pay more than 30$ for it, its not a rare toy.

Also Grappel and Inferno make more sense using that mold than Hotspot since this mold is supposed to be a classics version of the Inferno G1 mold which was also used for G1 Grappel. This combiner War Hotspot is the first classics rendition of that character with a mold intended for him.

That toy has been rarer for me to find under 38 USD than you might think. :-P

I also have been eying United Cliffjumper. I think he'd go well with Classics Bee, and also has a pretty rad paint job. Only things I don't like are the way the hands curve in, and the big back-pack. Other than that, it's looks pretty good.

I like the FoC Bee/Cliffy mold, that bee was one of my first purchases that got me back into collecting.

It's a complex bugger and a little on the large side compared to the other FoC/WfC molds. I'd recommend either variant.

United Cliffjumper, is that the one that shares a mold with classics Bee? I've got the later Beedeco (the darker one with black stripes) and that's a great Bee. Fun, harkens back to G1 and is a great size. Also has a fun lil accessory.

Thats a terrible price. if you are patient, just check out e-bay once in a while, you are bound to find one for at least 10$ cheaper.

I was putting the images that were lost back in my articles and I noticed that indeed, Grappel is one of my go to molds for fights since he is great to Transform back and forth. You can catch a glimpse of him in this photo for the shockwave list:

I think you are thinking of Classics Cliffjumper. United Cliffjumper was from the FoC Cliff mold. It's just a metallic FoC Clifjfumper.

Yeah, I actually really like how RTS Bee looks. The colors just look much better than the Classics version.

Yeah I might. I really do like Grapple. I am a huge fan of big and blocky truck transformers.

Yeah I LOVE how Grapple looks. He and the Constructicons are just awesome characters, and I would love to get a toy of Grapple with that weight and heaviness that I always loved in older figures.

I recently sold that Hasbro deluxe Cliffjumper, WFC deluxe Bee, and RTS deluxe Bee, all perfect and complete with cards, $13 a piece.

Cobotron bought my RTS Solar Storm Grappel (why they changed the name still I have no clue) in perfect shape complete with box for $18 or so.

If you are looking for stuff Silly, and I mean not window shopping, check TransformerLand.com for stuff. They even have a wiki dedicated to all the parts and accessories that come with the figures.

I love the fire truck mold. I love that his chest is just the big ol' front of the truck. Nothing fancy. Just a fire truck with arms and legs.
I did acquire Grapple from Cram at a great price, and am grateful for it!
As far as who is better kinda boils down to, which do you like better, yellow or red? The are both cool and both have great head sculpts.

I kinda like Grapple better as far as color... surprisingly. Yellow usually is not my thing, but the yellow fits that truck so well though, and reminds me of the old diaclone Constructicons that I always wanted. (I know Grapple was not part of the G1 Constructicon Devastator, the color scheme just reminds me of them.)

I'm a red fancier and Inferno has a wicked head scult, but Grapple has a cool crane arm thingy.

I'm not in the market for either right now. I guess it will just depend on which on crosses my path first.

Nope, the guy who runs it is awesome though, I've spent hundreds of dollars there over the last year or so and they are always very accommodating. Looking out for stuff for me and such. That's where I preorder stuff now as far as MP goes.

Also, if I tire of selling things I'm selling it all to them. So maybe I WOULD be on Transformer Land!

OMG they have Ultra class Cybertron Jetfire.

Nostalgia overload. THAT is something I want to get for sure. AND IT'S ONLY FOR THE PRICE OF A MODERN LEADER CLASS. That is awesome. There are three different sellers and they are all for great prices.

I'll vouch for TFL even though I've never done business with them on the internets. They had a huge and awesome booth at botcon and were a super friendly bunch of guys and gals ;)^

Cobo and I spent a lot of time there and made multiple trips.

Some old figures are very good. They lack some articulation and don't scale as well with most of my collection, but some old guys have some good stuff. RiD Gigatron and 2007 Breakaway are 2 good ones. I would so get a Liokaiser original if I could, and I have watched more than a few cybertron figures on ebay. Some of them are real good looks :MAXIMAL:

No it's not. It's just some brown triangles and the face it gives you is terrible. Plus quote a few stickers in that set are not for magnaboss and 7$ shipping for something that can just be placed in an envelope is ridiculous. A deluxe transformer from Japan costs less to ship than that.
