Yep, latest Prime. And he is the first to have the armory trailer. It's been a dream of mine for him to get one like this since 2011, and this is the first to fulfill that.

it's really cool. Needs improvement, but I'm just happy the design finally got used

I think I'm narrowing down the G1 niches that I really enjoy. I love the gimmick lines; -masters, Action Masters, combiners, and most of all Pretenders.

And with that, I have found the king of my G1's. Hot. Damn.

This set is incredible!!! Every part of it is a joy, every part is somewhat different, and it is all enjoyable!

I do not regret this at all. And this just gives me more incentive to find another Powermaster or 5 at TFcon. this is so fun

I'm really enjoying some of my G1 guys right now. Powermaster Prime is incredible, and Grotusque is also really good!

I don't have a ton of G1, but I do have ones that i really like and enjoy

I am still loving this figure. This is absolutely one of the best G1 figures I own, and it is so much fun.

I'm actually enjoying it a heck of a lot more than it's update. It may partsform more, it may be less posable, and it may not have proper proportions, but holy crap is it ridiculously fun.

Mission for TFcon: try to find the remaining 5 Powermasters. At least that subgroup is fairly small, and I think I already have the 2 largest/most expensive ones

This is really starting to turn into the year of the Optimus. this is my 10th optimus this year, and there are still 1 to 3 or so to go

Also, I'm doing a bit of an Animated appreciation week this week, with the 5 primary cast toys getting some nice spotlights.

Today was the first that I got: Bumblebee! I got him in the 2008 3-pack, and I have adored him. I loved him in the show too, the scrappy mouthy young punk. And the toy is pretty good too.

Oh, he's on my list. that is such a cool looking figure I will get to him eventually.

I'm thinking my animated kick will last into next week too to cover the other half of my Animated collection besides the main cast, including some bots you and Cram passed onto me!

Yep, the Cybertronian one.

I am retroactively starting to look to complete my Animated collection. As my favorite show, it is long overdue that I get more of the toys.

TFcon is really looking dangerous this year. I am beginning to feel really unfocused with what I'm giong to be watching for

That's a dangerous game and one I tiptoed around at Botcon. I was pretty unfocused then and had a few things I was looking for and then just grabbed stuff on my why not list that were good prices.

I'd highly recommend doing some mental prioritizing before you walk in the door. It can be quite intoxicating.

You know D, those also came packaged as sets for Universe in more G1y decos. They might not go for as much as one would think.

If I may give a little advice on Con-ing and shopping dealer rooms. If you have the gumption to try, you shouldn't be afraid to haggle with these folks.
I cleaned up pretty good at that last BotCon and made off with some pretty great prices on things.
The easiest way to do this is to try to make bundle deals. Find a vendor that has 2 or 3 of the things you're after, and make them a flat offer for all the items. Go lower than you are willing to pay. See if they bite. If not you have room to work up to the price you'd be willing to pay. It works! And nobody gets hurt. The prices on these things are set on perception only, and vendors are there to move merch.

Also remember that cash is KING! A vendor is way more willing to budge if they see a fee free wad of cash in your fist!

Thanks for the advice Cobs.

I did have some faint knowledge that those molds were repainted to buggery and beyond, and i don't think I'm gonna be picky with which versions of the molds I get.

I'm glad you mentioned haggling too, I wasn't sure if that was acceptable. i do it here at yard sales all the time, so I'm glad to see I can use it there too.

And I was planning on cash! I'm only taking a certain amount to keep myself on a proper budget!
