"Someone," Compassion said, "has been watching too much Saturday-morning TV."
The Doctor shrugged. "There was a time when it always seemed to be a Saturday when I was on Earth, and the children's programmes were excellent, if my memory doesn't cheat." He made folding motions with his hand and muttered something that sounds to Fitz like "robots in disguise."

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Well ... if this is true I can see a fandom divided between "YES!" and "oh dear lord not them again"
From Outpost Gallifrey
From Outpost Gallifrey
DOCTOR Who bosses are set to sign up Gandhi star Sir Ben Kingsley - to play the Daleks' creator Davros.
Sir Ben, 63 - who won an Oscar for his movie role as India's peace-loving spiritual leader - is in final negotiations to play one of the most dangerous baddies in the galaxy.
A source said: "Ben's agent has been in talks for a while now and he's very keen to play the part of Davros. A deal will be signed any day now."
Fans will be delighted that insane half-man, half-machine Davros is returning for the fourth series of the hit BBC1 show, which stars David Tennant as the Timelord.
The alien scientist - who first battled the Doctor in 1975 - is hell-bent on destruction with his army of exterminating Daleks.

I'm thinking that it'll be a large majority of us in the "oh dear lord not them again" category. And I really think that will be the tipping point for this series being the worst yet.
I mean, first off we learn that Donna's coming back, then...them, then...him...

I have a friend that's been hoping for that.
Personally, they should have left it for at least a series. This is just flogging a dead horse now.
Incindentally, they announced this on the news on Century FM this morning.
I wonder if that other fellow is going to appear? I'm sure you can tell what I'm asking but I don't want to give any spoilers with my question.

I don't think you and I are ever going to agree on DW.

I'm still holding out hope that whatever happens with S4, Davies will leave at the end and they'll hand the reigns to Steven Moffatt.

Couple of things I have to point out here.
1). I have mod powers for this forum, and can strike that post from the thread if I so choose to. Whether or not I have the right (no jokes) is irrelevant, so the last thing you really want to do is give me a reason.
2). Comparing...that to Sarah Jane is just wrong. IT'S WRONG![/Cartman]

The Doctor finds that time is being manipulated by some spikey aliens called Porgs and he gets the help of a young waitress aboard the Titanic. It is about to leave on its maiden voyage so the adventure will probably continue until the ship strikes the iceberg. Hmm. Does this mean that the iceberg was really a space ship or that the invasion of these aliens actually caused the ship to crash? Can't wait!

There's only a few things out of that which have actually been confirmed to happen. Anyone keeping up with the spoilers will know which ones, so I won't say to keep people unspoiled.
As for the rest...well, to be honest, some of it might be dumb, but several of the so-called "rumours" of the past have turned out to be true, so who knows? We do know that RTD is looking to anally rape the legacy...erm, showcase another of the classic villain races in this series, so one of those might end up to be true. I sure hope its the first one, cause the idea of...him coming back (as if the mere idea of them coming back isn't nauseating enough...) makes me gag. (And I was doing enough of that already at the thought of She Of The Glass Shattering Voice being on the show.)
As for the rest of it...well, if you believe that, please do yourself and the rest of the world a favor and commit yourself to the nearest mental facility. Stupidity such as yours cannot be allowed to run rampant.

All I'm gonna say is... I really hope Tennant stays on for a few more series. I love Troughton, but I hate the idea he's put into some actors' minds (Davison) that the role should only be carried out for three years. Pertwee and Tom Baker went beyond three years, and seemed to do pretty damn well.

I really think they're overestimating themselves here. I consider myself a fan, but I consider that piece of news tied with Catherine Tate joining the show just about the worst piece of news the new series has ever had.
