That's a good question. I'm on a network and I'm trying to get my service provider to give me a straight answer about it. Right now, it could be something they did.

If I ever find it out, I'll let you know.

Your IP resolves to a weird ISP called "Modem Madness (madbbs.com)", I have never seen it before. Perhaps they have had bad players from there in the past? It's a lot easier to take out a whole ISP that is relatively unknown than a mainstream one like Comcast or AOL I guess.

I can't say why they've banned clients from that ISP but I suppose there is always playing by proxy, but that would be a hassle.

I suppose you can always make a new e-mail address... As for IP, there's an option in the game to disable IP check.

For when the game eventually comes back online, do you guys have a means of off-site communication set up for this "oGame"?

Once the game is running again, Seibertron might not appreciate you using his bandwidth as part of another site's game (hypothetically it falls under the 'no promoting other sites on the boards rule'), and I doubt you'll simply want to drop this new game to play HMW 24/7, in which case you'll need to find a way to chat somewhere else.

It's also possible he won't care at all; can't predict him on stuff like that. But on the off chance that it does ruffle his feathers some where down the line, you guys should have some sort of contingency plan in place so you can play both.
