think about it, the trans organics seem to be extremely resiliant, so after trying to hang himself and his head poped off, and shooting himself in the face, only to have a bugs bunny style black powdered face, and several wile e. cyote moments and a dramatic plot twist later, he adopts the "captain save-a-gyro" persona. still arrogant, still prowd. maybe color him like a peacock.

Um... You mean become "Animated Silverbolt" don't you? He couldn't possibly become a character from an entirely different series especially when their personalitys are so drastically different.
Yes... of course... Animated. I said BW Silverbolt so that people wouldn't think "Animated Silverbolt" based off of G1 Silverbolt (the aerialbot). Perhaps I should have said Animated BW Silverbolt. Whatever. Hopefully you know what I mean.
It seemed like Sentinel was interested in Elita and Elita was interested in Optimus, with Optimus also interested in her but not making his feelings as obvious.Rial Vestro wrote:How about an Animated version of BW Silverbolt allthough personally I thought that was Prowl. (by personality, Prowl kinda reminds me of a cross between BM Silverbolt and BW Tigatron)
And what about Optimus Prime. They didn't make it too clear who was dateing Elita One and they both seem to have a thing for her.

"Rodimus Major" was originally going to be the replacement name for the Hot Rod toys since Hasbro can't use the name "Hot Rod" anymore, and so was used for the Comemmorative Series rerelease of the Hot Rod toy. But since then, all subsequent "Hot Rod" toys were simply called "Rodimus", with all Rodimus Prime toys used the name "Rodimus Prime". It would seem that the name "Rodimus Major" has faded away with the name "Rodimus" in favor of it.Rial Vestro wrote:I was just thinking if they ever make a season 4 or a spin off there's another toy I think they should refrence for rank. I don't think Hasbro has the rights to use the name Hot Rod anymore sence his G1 Reissue was called Rodimus Major (Not sure about the spelling I think there was an "i" in there somewhere.) when I saw it at Toys R Us. And any toy reincarnation I've seen of him seems to use some veriant of the name Rodimus rather than Hot Rod. I think the G1 Reissue was just to seperate him from the G1 Reissue Rodimus Prime sence that's the only time I can remember Rodimus Major being used for Hot Rod.

Allso Energon Rodimus should of been Rodimus Prime sence he WASN'T a hot rod car.
I think they're just randomly chooseing names that include "Rodimus" as part of the name.

Rodimus is the new catch-all term for anyone designed to look like Hot Rod. It doesn't matter if he's designed closer to Hot Rod or Rodimus Prime, either way, if it's orange with flame decals, it's Rodimus with prime being optional.

I was strictly referring to how all toys for the character of G1 Hot Rod are now simply called "Rodimus" (as opposed to "Rodimus Major" like his first reissue), while all toys for the charatcer of G1 Rodimus Prime are still called "Rodimus Prime".
