Now trying to figure out Spike's age seems difficult but in more then one episode of G1 he makes there are refrances to the fact that he's to young to drive.One time by Spike himself in the first season and the other by a police officer in the second season.
Now it is my understanding that the legale age for driving on the West Coast back in 1984 was 16 or 17 years old.
So for Spike not to be old enough to drive he had to be at least 14 years old when we first meet him [and probably younger based on the cop's reaction].
So if you subtrack about 6 years from the age Spike must be in the first season of G1 you end up at 7 years of age.
So G1 Daniel was about 8 years old in the 86 movie.Far closer to what you thing Animated Daniel looked like.

According to Carly's Wiki page she was a year older than Spike and she had her own car. That Places her at 16 and Spike at 15. If Daniel was ment to be 5 years younger than Spike like you say that makes him 10. That's only 2 years younger than my original estimate and still a year older than what I thought Sari to be.
No my math is not wrong but it look's like your reading skills need tunning up.If you read my post again you'll see that I said Spike is about 14 when "We" first met him not when Carly first met him.So that would put Daniel at 9 years old.
Second Wiki is a totally unreliable source.And I always felt that Carly was about 2 years older then Spike....but that was my opinion.

My oldest nephew is a year old and his father just turned 23 last month.
I never said that there was anything wrong with having kids at 22 years old....the U.S. goverment did.Remember I had kids at 13 years old.I had to attened all kinds of planed parenthood classes.
Remember those were the Regan years and consevertisim was at a all time high.You may have been born in the late 80's but you didnt live trew those years.
You didnt sit trew all the lectures from the establishment telling every one how they should live there lives of the school conceler's doing the same or all the so called studies give and reported on the topic.
And TV kid show's were not about to go against the grain on the topic.As it is Transformers was already one of the first cartoon shows of its kind.
Before the 80's there was a law in effect that bared and cartoon show to be made that was based on a toyline because it could be considered false advertisment.

Not everyone enters puberty at the same age.My first signs of puberty were at the age of 10.
And I said "KIDS" not a kid.I had twin daughters at the age of 13.
You must have growen up in a pretty nice neborhood never to have encountered a 13 year old parent.Or a 11 year old pregnet girl.It's pretty common place where I'm from.

I didnt tell my mother about my kids till they were 3 years old.
Sudemek also seemed to be living on a farm in a rueal area so he could have had any kind of heavy lifting equiment to move what was left of Megatron.
And all we saw there was a head...the rest of Megatrons body could have landed further away from the head.
The only thing anyone he was living with in the morning would have seen was the inpact site..which could have also been hidden with farm equiment.
And who's to say anyone was home that night.You assume too much.
look on their faces when it appeared. Judging from their facial expressions, they weren't expecting to find a hologram of G1 Prime.
Well, I guess we'll never really know, seeing as how we were never told whether Primal did know about it or not. But the Beast Machines DVDs sure do come in handy.
