Oh has anyone brought this up yet?
Given the current theme of Animated it's preddy clear why the original title was called "Heroes" The only reason it was changed to Animated was to set it apart from the movie but I think they could have done that without the lame title. They should have stuck with Heroes, at least that sets it apart from every single other Transformers series. Animated could be anything from G1 till Cybertron.

I heard that one of the reasons for the name change was because of the upcomming "Heroes" toyline from the NBC show.
I think the idea was that small retailers and collectible stores might have had some ordeing issues when ording from catalogs but that story sounds like a strech to me.

This is the first I've even heard about "Heroes" haveing a toy line.
They could use abrivations like "TF:H" the Transformers if the two titles are running togeater and the people ordering are just looking at the "Heroes" part.

Sabrblade wrote:has anyone besides me noticed that in all the images/clips of the animated Megatron toy has the back of the jet mode mistiken for the front? The front of the jet is where the cannon is pointed to, yet ALL the images/clips I've seen of the toy has it positioned to where it's back is facing forward.
It's likely because there is this piece of plastic on the back of the cannon the looks like a windshield and that is what's confusing everyone.
Take a look for yourself at this pic from the first episode:
Megs is flying towards the right and his cannon is pointed forward.
Saber Prime wrote:From what I can tell of the toy vs the cartoon the canon IS faceing the right direction
Saber Prime wrote:BUT it should be place further up twards the point. Allso the toon it's attached on the bottom of the vehicle mode. The toy seems to have it attached on the top.

The Storylines parallel in quality with TMNT in the future or whatever the hell they call it. The Show seems like not only made for children but made BY children.

I agree on the Animation comment, I think alot of people do.
The TMNT thing is called "Fast Forward" and that's a continuation of the same series that turned Shredder and Krang into the same character.
As for the storys, like Teen Titans, made by the same people, the series has it's good moments of a serious plot and the bad moments of the little kiddy plots. I think most episodes will end up being the little kiddy plots.
As for the comment about RID, I actully liked that series. It didn't have the best leaders, the leaders on both factions spent alot of time sitting at base and letting their minions do all the work. The plots however were not that bad for a filler series just to pass the time between Beast Machines and Armada.
Transformers Armada on the other hand is the worst series on record. RID Optimus Prime may of spent alot of the series standing at a computer screen but at least he knew everyone's names. Armada Prime can't go a single episode without calling someone by the wrong name.
An idea for a Transformers spoof just poped into my head picture this dialog going with the scene in Armada where Optimus trys to give Hot Shot the Matrix.
Optimus Prime: Ultra Magnus, I may not make it back alive, it is to you I pass the Matrix.
Hot Shot: Ok, who's Ultra Magnus?
Optimus Prime: Hot Rod, it is to you I pass the Matrix.
Hot Shot: It's Hot SHOT, my name is Hot Shot.
Optimus Prime: Cheetor, it is to you I pass the Matrix.
Hot Shot: Cheetor? What just because I call you Big Bot I'm Cheetor now? Isn't Jetfire the second in command why don't you give him the Matrix?
Optimus Prime: Jetfire it is you I pass the Matrix.
Hot Shot: Jetfire's not even here, you're still talking to me.
Optimus Prime: Megatron it is to you I pass the Matrix.
Hot Shot: Megatron? What the hell, he's not even an Autobot! Of course you do keep calling Sparkplug Leader-1.
Optimus Prime: Jolt, it is to you I leave the Matrix.
Hot Shot: That's my Mini-con partner, oh forget it, just go kill yourself allready.
Optimus Prime: OK

Sabrblade wrote:LOL Saber Prime. Think of some other scenes while you're at it.
As for you, Phatgod1, you should've watched the first three episodes before making up your mind about this series. Yes, I'll admit this episode wasn't the best one to see first, but at least it had the best human villain seen so far. The others that have been shown are mediocre compared to Meltdown. But go on Youtube, search for the first three episdoes entitled "Transform and Roll Out" and then state your opinion.
