No. It was confirmed by Hasbro that there will be no Unicron or Primus appearance in this series. This is a brand new storyline. The only thing that ties it to the other series at all are the cameos of old characters, but other than that, it's all brand new with the characters being different from G1.

I found out the hard way that this isn't a sequel to the other shows even though it looks like it.

The hard way?????

What ever do you mean????

Did you bet some money on it???

And when was it confirmed by Hasbro that there will be no Unicron or Primus showing up in this serries????

Not that I'm interested in seeing them.I hated the Trilogy. But I havent hear any official word that ether of the godformers would never be seen in Animated.

Hell, might as well throw out my personal wishlist (not demands, just stuff I'd like to see I've headr no plans on). Pretty much anything I list on Classics I would totally also take in Masterpiece scale.

Classics Springer (Cause I love Springer for some reason)

Movie or a more accurate classics Devastator (Movie version not unlikely given rumors)

Classics Ironhide (with Ratchet mod). Ironhide cause he rocks, Ratchet cause he's the first TF I owned).

A better version of Dinobot that doesn't have robot legs hanging off his dinomode.

Classics Blitzwing (unlikely given we're getting animated version. But I like the old tank mode better)

Brawn.

Kup.

Masterpiece Soundwave (And, ya know, maybe some scaled Rumble/Frenzy/Ravage/Laserbeak)

How?

The posts before his were dicussing how Unicron won't be in Animated.

His Classics "wish list/desires" seem pretty random/out of place here.

1) Do we KNOW Unicron won't be in Animated? They're bringing in Swindle, Jetstorm and Waspinator, I think Unicron is far, far, FAR more likely than not.

2) It's still Transformers. I don't see anything wrong with talking about Transformers on a thread about Transformers.

It's not an issue with talking about Transformers in a Transformers topic. This is a Transformers board every topic is about Transformers.

It's an issue with making a wish list for Transformers toys that has NOTHING to do with Transformers Animated in a topic dedicated to Transformers Animated.

There are other topics more appropriat to put a toy wish list on in the Toys section on the fourms. This is not the place for it.

Yes. we *DO* know that Unicron will not be in this series. Right from Hasbro themselves at BotCon. If that's not proof enough for you, then you're just grasping at straws.

Well like I said I'm not intrested in seeing Unicron or Primus but let me ask you this????

Just when was it that any word from Hasbro been proven infallible????

Its been my experance over the past 24 years that Hasbro change's its mind as often as the children it sells its toys to.

Two things, didn't Leonard Nimoy doing some of Unicron's lines turn out to be a myth? And I hope they don't use Unicron in this one, cause although he's pretty cool, I've been following Transformers series since day one and the whole 'Unicron being the big bad' has been done to death. It'd be nice to see some other threat to the cast.

I finally got to see "Rise of the Constructicons" and it was the first one that I didn't really like. Scrapper and Mixmaster were a little too jerk-like to be Autobots, yet they weren't evil enough to be Decepticons. And the ending was just disappointing and kinda sad. I hope some good comes for the Constructicons.

Too jerk-like to be Autobots? Have you not been paying attention to Sentinal Prime and Ratchet in "Garbage in, Garbage Out" There are jerk-like Autobots in this series.

Yeah but they were a different kind of jerks. Snetinel Prime is a jerk, but he's an Autobot through and through. These guys, however, were the kind of pig-headed hot shots that couldn't be tolerated by the Autobots whatsoever (except for Bulkhead).

and to be honest, the only difference I can hear in the Unicron voice near the end (which is said to be Nimoy) is that it sounds weeker and a little sick, which I think comes from the fact that Mr Wells was at that point already dieing.

Didn't like RotConstructicons too much. They were funny to start but became too drunk and annoying. Megatron has a private stash! Is he trying to be more awesome than BW Megatron?
Blitzwing seems to be very dissaproving of Megs. Could an end of season rebellion a la Cybertron be afoot? I heiniously doubt it. Why was Blitzers so nasty to the constructicons though? Maybe he just found them annoying like me.

I'm not sure what happened here, but ROTC was not their best episode...

It wasn't even funny, really. I laughed at the segment where Sari lost her pigtails.

It was more...meh overall.

The ending was nice though, further showing there's more depth to Bulkhead than they normally show.

Still, I have to give it a 2 out of 5. =\

 "ROTC" Ha! That's the second Transformers episode of any series that spells something when abbreviated that I've heard of.

Another example would be the G1 episode 2-parter "The Return of Optimus Prime" - "TROOP"!

What's more cool s that both are military-related: ROTC and TROOP.

The Constructicons didn't seem like jerks to me. They were actully more of the sterio type construction workers the way they whistled at the passing car and with the voices.

One thing that bothers me though.

"You're little name tag says Mix Master."

"No that's too long, just call me Mix."

He was then later called Mix Master again by Bulkhead so now I'm a little confused on exactly what his name is.

Because of G1 I really want to call him Mix Master. You think they did that because they don't have the TM for it? The name Mix Master hasn't been used sence G1.

I don't particularly like Mix Master's robot mode either. Scrapper looks ok but Mix Master looks too much like a human construction worker and not enough like a robot. He's wearing overalls for Primus sake, what the heck?

From what I can tell on their personalitys they don't know right from wrong but they could be taught. Both sides told them the other side was evil and they didn't seem to like that so we know they're good guys, they're just confused.

The Dinobots and Constructicons in this series haven't really joined the Autobots or Decepticons and both groups have been fooled by the Decepticons. And so has Wreck-Gar but by the end of his episode he had made his alligence with the Autobots I think.

And now I'm wondering if Sari is going to have a new hair styal in the next episode or if thoughs pig tails will have grown back by then.
