New Omen wrote:It was a great episode with lots of nods. I liked the reference to Snarl/Slags name change. Also anyone think they parodied Fooly Cooly/FLCL when Prime jumped and hit Soundwave with a guitar?

Don't forget Sari's new scooter.Shadowman wrote:New Omen wrote:It was a great episode with lots of nods. I liked the reference to Snarl/Slags name change. Also anyone think they parodied Fooly Cooly/FLCL when Prime jumped and hit Soundwave with a guitar?
Oh man, I forgot to mention that. First we have the Canti/Wreck-gar thing going on, and then Prime whacks someone over the head with a guitar.

I completely forgot about that!Name_Violation wrote:I'm suprised no one mentioned that laserbeak pickin up soundwave is from the headmasters series, when wave got destroyed and remade into soundblaster

*ahem*
I have found proof that Galvatron will NOt be appearing in Animated! Derrick Wyatt had this question asked to him at TFCon:
"Q: What is your favorite character? How about your least favorite? And which character would you have wanted to add to the cast?"
And gave this answer:
"A: Favorite character, hands down, is Swindle. Least favorite is Beachcomber (some jeers from the crowd there) Sorry Beachcomber fans! We even cut his scene. Character I would have liked to put in... I'd say Galvatron. But with Nimoy for the voice."
You see that? A charatcer he would have liked to put in. Meaning a charatcer that is not in Animated that he had wanted to added in, but didn't!
Therefore, we can now truely say that Galvatron is not and will not be showing up at all in Animated.
Thus making Animated the third (fifth if you add in all the Japanese shows) series to neither have Megatron turn into Galvatron, nor to feature any Galvatron at all.

Mechabreaker wrote:Human Error parts 1 and 2. Hmmmmm... Part one was amazing, part two was...mediocre. I really liked seeing Soundwave again, but I do not enjoy the fact that he is utterly useless.

Shadowman wrote:He took over an enire city, twice, one of which involved machines starting a city-wide riot. That does not qualify as useless.

So, maybe useless was the wrong word. I was thinking weak. He was easily defeated in Sound and Fury. At least in these two episodes he put up more of a fight.

In Sound and Fury, he had only recently gained sentience. And even then, he started a city-wide machine uprising.

Well, they pulled off something like that in the Marvel comics series, but they were still the same person (the future self just traveled back in time and met his past self).mitchsantona wrote:I have to agree that there hasn't been enough pure Megatron to warrant him getting changed. This is my favorite incarnation of Megs and he has barely been in this season. I could watch more of this Megatron for 3 more seasons.
Is there any way to have both Megs and Galvatron in the series together, like one rules one half of the galaxy and one has the other?
Just an idea.

Yeah, but we do know that Ratbat is dead. Prime killed him when he sliced Soundwave.Jazz Reborn wrote:Mechabreaker wrote:It's a shame that this is the last we will see of Soundwave, I wish they would have made him more of a core character.
I don't think he's gone. At the end, Lazerbeak picked up a Soundwave cassette, which is kinda like the cassette at the end of Sound and Fury.
