NZL has been very cruel to us fans of TFA lately, I had to watch season three online. God bless you, YouTube!

Beleive you me, I almost fell of the couch when Perceptor spoke for the first time. I was excited by the character design images and wanted to hear the voice they gave to him. I have to say, I can see how people might not like his voice, but I kinda do, it suits him.

As for this Sari business, I rolled my eyes a few seasons back making snide remarks about how she was a really a transformer. But hey, she's better then Daniel.
Something memorable here.

Just saw the sneek peek of the next Transformers Animated episode "Decepticon Air" and had a couple comments.

1. Apperently Sari knows how to fix space bridges but doesn't have any idea HOW she knows how to fix space bridges. Is that anything like Penut and Jose knowing Spanish but Jeff doesn't? (100 points to anyone that gets that joke.)

2. Alpha Trion has a speaking part but I don't know yet who actully does his voice. I hope Cory Burton sence he is one of the original voice actors. (One of because the original Alpha Trion seemed to have a new voice actor in every episode he appeared in. I'm exadgerating but yea he had multiple voice actors in G1.)

3. Last time Sentinal Prime left Earth he reverted back to his Cybertronian mode. This time it seems he's stayed in his Earth Mode could this mean he's actully starting to like that organic planet or maybe he just hasn't had a chance to switch alt modes yet?

4. Sentinal Prime's talk with Alpha Trion, Cliffjumper, and Perceptor made him seem like an Autobot version of Starscream with his "our leader is dead so I'm in charge now" additude.

5. Cliffjumper sounds different. He doesn't talk much anyway but I think he has a different voice actor this time. Not sure why, David Kaye is in this episode.

6. Sentinal Prime is either, stupid, suicidal, or both. I'm voteing on stupid.

Just saw Decepticon Air, should of been called Decepticon Space considering there was no air where they were. Anyway nice to see Swindle back.

Last time he made a reference to the Vok, this time he mentions the Quintessons yet I find it odd he makes no mention to Blitzwing about their multiheadedness.

Swindle gives Sunstorm and Ramjet new helmets so he can tell them apart. I see a few things wrong with that. 1, wouldn't he only need to give one of them a new helmet and is he majorly color blind? They have completly different color schemes. At any rate it was still a nice was to homeage the original Ramjet sence he's now a cone head but I still think Sunstorms was unnessisary.

Want a Ramjet toy now. With the Conehead. The Sunstorm one wasnt neccesary but I still like it. I liked this episode except for all of the Sentinal S*** he keeps giving everyone. He calls OP for help and won't stop berating him the whole time. I gotta pause that last scene when someone uploads it. Did I spot Traxx?

Lots of cameo appearances in this one. I spotted Rosanna, a white bot with Ratchet's/Ironhide's body form, Huffer, Mainframe, Warpath, a green bot with a red head in a Mr. Freeze "fishbowl" helmet (not Oil Slick), Beachcomber, and a rather feminine-looking Tracks.

Not to mention TWO Granduses that Sentinel and his captives were riding on through the streets.

I loved it when Swindle gave Ramjet his helmet.

For a minute there I was holding out hope that he was about to reprogram them so they weren't just negative aspects of Starscream, but the helmets were good too.

Yeah the parade at the end was cool. And now everyone will want a Grandus or two for making their own parades.

I saw Tracks, Mainframe, and Beachcomber in that brief second.

I was wondering the same thing, but I just figured out who it was. It was an Autrooper.

I didn't even make that connection till you mentioned it. Still would of worked`with the plot if they changed the tital so it wasn't sugesting that there's air in space.

Allso wouldn't that mean a least one of the Decepticons is really a spy and another was just arrested on bogus charges? (Not a huge fan of Nicholas Cage but yes I have seen Con-Air. Loved him as Ghost Rider though.) Don't try to answer that, it was a joke.

I found this image on Wiki.

Image

I don't see anyone in that picture who looks like Seaspray or Cosmos, perhaps they were in a different section of the crowd. Unless the one people are saying is Cosmos doesn't actully look like his G1 self but is the guy next to Tracks who looks like he could transform into the Enterprise. Thoughs things on his back look like the nacells (spelling?) from all the Star Fleet ships on Star Treck.

I must say I enjoyed this episode quite a lot. Lots of fun references, plus the return of Swindle. The helmets for Sunstorm & Ramjet were a nice nod, although I felt Sunstorm's was unnecesary, even though it did look very G1 Starscream-ish. Tracks, Warpath, Autrooper, Cosmos, Huffer, & Beachcomber were all nice additions as well. I also liked the Quintessa reference, plus how Swindle has his own personal storage dimension that can be transwarped. to & fro. And we finally see Megatron after the "Transwarped" dilema. Hopefully we see him, Starscream & Lugnut next week on Cybertron.

Actually now it's not an "Autrooper" but an "Autotrooper". Derrick Wyatt renamed it this for some unknown reason (like how he gave the Dag-Base redeco of Grandus as "Dug-Base").

Weapon: Missile Launcher
Loved this episode.

I know that some people in the TF fan community keep saying that they should make a more adult-oriented TF cartoon, but since that's likely never going to happen, I for one really appreciate all the nods to G1 -- the cone head for "the liar" (who we've deemed to be Ramjet), Swindle's reference to Nebulos and Quintessa and the Quintessons, Alpha Trion, and all the cameos of the G1 guys in the crowd waving. Good stuff.

I found Swindle hilarious. G1 cartoon Swindle was always selfish and trying to make a deal (like with the transforming cog of Metroplex), so seeing those qualities embellished in Swindle in Decepticon Air was very amusing.

I'm very eager to see what happens to the autobot leadership at the end of Season 3. My guess is that somehow the truth of how Optimus has the real leadership qualities and Sentinel is all talk but no rock when it really matters will come out and be known.

Good stuff.
