POS, wasted, episode. Can't wait until the next episode. Whenever that is. At least it was better than that "Speed Metal" or whatever that racing episode was. This episode bored me, but that one just pissed me off.
Everything non-plot pisses you off. Lighten up dude. You ever stop to think that, maybe filler episodes like this are needed so that the development crew gets to work more on later episodes to make them more epic? And, it's my guess that, in the next season, there will be another episode just like this. The animators need a break, or we wont get episodes weekly.
Unless all the episodes are already finished for the most part. but this episode still serves a simaler purpose. Less work here, more work there.
This happens with most shows. Take a look at your regular tv, a lot of them post-New Year will show one or two episodes, then take a month off. It helps production catch up, and networks to drag shows out so they don't have to use their brains to come up with something new and original that isn't reality based.

There's also the fact that the given budget for a season might not match up with the number of episodes ordered. So they save money for more "important" episodes, season finales and the like, and pad the episode list out with lower-budget episodes. Clip shows would be the animation equivalent, since it's cheaper to recycle old footage than to draw and animate new stuff.

For a moment there I misheard Silas' name as Weyland Bishop.
'Nice reference', I thought.
But no. Although one of the actors in Aliens was, in fact, Leland Orser.
Still nice, I guess!

Pretty decent for a clip show; love that it focused on Fowler. Particularly liked these plot hints:
- "Silas" and MECH all formerly/currently(!) in US military
- the Arcee-Airachnid fights may soon draw to a close
- Skyquake may eventually defect

The soldiers being currently imployed was just (at the moment) a way to explain why they have all their faces covered. But this could, in fact lead to an epic twist down the road. It could, but might not.
Arcee and Airachnid. Its a ticking time bomb really. One has to go. Autobots usually win in the end, But with Arcee's outbreaks and burning trail of revenge, she just might be the rumored autobot death. I HIGHLY doubt it. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder about that. Who's going to die!? The next episode may answer that question. They killed off makeshift because he was too powerful, so maybe Airachnid is next to go?
And finaly, I highly doubt Dreadwing will defect. He may eventually see Megatron's follies, but I don't think he would betray. The roots of his loyalty are too deep.

I think I know what he's talking about. I can't name the source (hell I can't even remember the site I saw it on) but some months back I remember seeing something about a Bot kicking the bucket.

What he said. It's been rumoured (AND ONLY RUMOURED!) that an autobot would die in season 2. IIRC, the topic was brought up in this very thread as well.

Yeah, well thats all that is. Hope. Hasbro won't let bee die.
You know, I wonder if HotShot be brought back into the limelight? He would be an awesome character in the new TF 4 reboot or something. Cooler than Bee. I just want to hear Bee talk again dammit!

That thought just crossed my mind. It wouldn't be the first occurence of that. Off the top of my head, wasn't the towtruck in Armada killed/wounded and rebuilt as Hoist? And don't forget the whole Galvatron thing. Even Rhinox or whatever his name was repurposed as Tankor in Beast Machines. Or something.

What he said. It's been rumoured (AND ONLY RUMOURED!) that an autobot would die in season 2. IIRC, the topic was brought up in this very thread as well.
Now I think I know what you guys are talking about.
It was at SDCC 2011 at which they said that between the end of season 1 and mid-season 2, there would be a "major character death", but not specifically an Autobot. And, as we saw, Breakdown was killed recently, and he was indeed a main cast character. So I guess we can chalk up his death as being the one they were referring to.

Yeah, i think i heard something about that as well. As long as it isn't Bulkhead i'll be ok. I'm hoping, if one is for a dirt nap, that it's Bumblebee
If someone dies, there's no coming back.
Plus, Hot shot is this series' Hot Rod/Rodimus; a separate character.

So, according to "Grill", some MECH agents may be current active duty members of the armed forces, which somewhat explains how they slipped Silas out from under Nemesis Prime's wreckage without Fowler or other noticing. Still doesn't explain how the military has Nemesis' remains, but not the remote control unit used to control it (even regarding MECH "clean sweep" M.O.).

Maybe the "military" branch that has Nemesis Prime is MECH.

Re: The Official Transformers: Prime Discussion Thread
It was at SDCC 2011 at which they said that between the end of season 1 and mid-season 2, there would be a "major character death", but not specifically an Autobot. And, as we saw, Breakdown was killed recently, and he was indeed a main cast character. So I guess we can chalk up his death as being the one they were referring to.
That sounds more like it. And it was an unexpected death, since there was a possibility that he would turn on Megatron and possibly join the Autobots because of their abandoning him to MECH. Or at least, that Breakdown would join Starscream since he came to rescue him even if he showed up too late.

Incredibly implausible. The military tends to notice things like, say, an entire branch being a terrorist organization actively working against the US Government.
