What I mean is, I hoping they're still the same kind of dinosaurs (T-Rex, Triceratops, "Brontosaurus"/Apatosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Pteranodon), still colored basically the same (primarily silver with some golds, reds, blacks, and blues), and still homages to the G1 Dinobots. It's a given that they won't look "exactly" the same, what with the differing animation studios and art styles, but at least let them bear a decent enough resemblance to each other.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Here's hoping that they don't look too different from their Fall of Cybertron designs.Rodimus2006 wrote:I am just more curious on to see when Dreadwing will show up also I dont expext the Dinobots to be until the Season finale of Season 2. The Dinobots getting new designs is pretty much a given at this point, admit it. Everyone else has had radical design changes. A few of them even had personality changes, in particular Breakdown.

Two characters can have the same type of altmode and still look different.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What I mean is, I hoping they're still the same kind of dinosaurs (T-Rex, Triceratops, "Brontosaurus"/Apatosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Pteranodon), still colored basically the same (primarily silver with some golds, reds, blacks, and blues), and still homages to the G1 Dinobots. Well, obviously, that's a given they're going to have the same basic alt-mode. But that has nothing to do with their Fall of Cybertron designs. (Alt-mode and design are too different things)

Rodimus2006 wrote:None of the characters will look the same either in Prime nor in Fall of Cybertron cause bascially FOC and WFC are bascially a prequel of sorts to Prime.

Especially if they hold to Fall of Cybertron's back story for the Dinobots - which, from what I've read and heard, is a pretty cool story.
If that the preview below is correct, that creature following Arcee and Jack is an Insecticon - a rather LARGE one, too. And it has some features that are not too disimilar from Beast Wars Scourge (especially in the wings. Not to mention it looks like the Scraplets are back...

We've already seen what Dreadwing looks like. He's a redeco of Skyquake.Rodimus2006 wrote:So the Dinobots & Dreadwing will look nothing like they did nor will Dreadwing look like any of his toy counterparts.
Heck Dreadwing may not even be a seeker he could have a diffrent Alt.Mode altogether from everything I have seen in Prime all these characters are doing a complete 180 from their previous versions.
There's probably a horde of Insecticons all over Cybertron.Gyrotron wrote:Definitely an Insecticon (or just Insecticon). At 0:17 I see Arcee getting her ass whooped by a flying insect. Considering it's the same terrain seen at 0:09, I'd believe it's the same Decepticon we saw at the end of Part 2. Obviously not Dreadwing, I wonder if this will be Insecticon, the seedling for an Insecticon Subgroup (
) or, although a long shot, Waspinator?

Rodimus2006 wrote:I suspect that Cybertron isnt a fully dead world there are many hidden scavengers, insecticons like bots maybe even bounty hunters hidden on cybertron.
Rodimus2006 wrote:Also a thought on the Insecticon Like bot under the bridge Maybe they are indeed more of them and when they come together sort of like in ROTF they wil make one single transformer.
Rodimus2006 wrote:Although I doubt this insecticon like being will look nothing like the one in ROTF.
Rodimus2006 wrote:Like I said Saber the one under the Bridge is a look out from the games I have played and the anime I have watched I have learned that were they are one they are many.

If you don't care about whether or not he's a Seeker, then why were you gloating about it?Rodimus2006 wrote:Who cares I cant wait to see Dreadwing in action, how will is personailty be, how will is voice be.
When did we ever talk about the Insecticon?Rodimus2006 wrote:Like I said Saber the one under the Bridge is a look out from the games I have played and the anime I have watched I have learned that were they are one they are many.
Thank you, Captain Obvious.Rodimus2006 wrote:The possibities are endless Saber.
I believe he meant anime in general, rather than specifically TF anime.Shadowman wrote:That's not related to the Unicron Trilogy, the ability to make a swarm is an old Insecticon trick.
Dreadwing is definitely supposed to appear in the show, as he's said to have a "compelling character arc" in season 2. Though, I'm betting that he'll just be a "same body model, different character" type guy rather than Skyquake rebuilt, as the creators have said that when they kill a character in this show, they stay dead.BeastProwl wrote:Alright. MY theory on Dreadwing
(If he even appears on the show that is!)
Now, so-and-so group of cons find Skyquake in that other dimension, and heal him and rebuild him into Dreadwing, Using the same bot to cut costs. If he even appears on the show that is.
I like the idea of them being evolved forms of the FOC Insecticons.BeastProwl wrote:Arcee referred to "vermin". This makes me follow along Saberblade's theory. there are probably hundreds, and if I may, they could probably even be evolved versions of the insectoid robots you see in wfc and the foc screenshots and stuff
