It's very dark.
He means it's very dark and yet still suitable for kids, like Batman TAS.
I was just baffled by the fact that he said it was "mature." I don't believe it's anything over PG or PG-13 (even though it's TV-Y7...or something). So I corrected him by saying it was dark rather than mature.
We don't need an Arcee stripper any time soon.
What? No man! I just meant that it was a bit darker than what is airing nowadays! P.S. How can a robot strip!?
Anyways, I always thought that Breakdown's face looked like Demolisher's, it has that one eye thing.

MECH took Breakdown's shirt off.
Your mind = blown?

Mature is not the same as dark, and it's not the same as "adult". What you're describing is "adult". "Mature" is "not making fart jokes and butt jokes and not having every character be a Spongebob expy", but rather, telling a good story in a way that doesn't talk down to the audience.

Well, in FoC, Jazz & Cliffjumper are partners, right? So if Cliffjumper knows what Arcee is going through, perhaps Jazz was killed at some point in time. I don't know how well that would fit into the continuity, probably atrociously, but the thought just came to me a few moments ago.

Sabrblade wrote:I would call Breakdown getting dissected, TC Cliffjumper getting multilated, and some of the violence involving Airachnid being way darker than Batman: TAS ever was. Sure it's all happening to robots, but robot gore is still gore, nonetheless. These aren't mere machines, but lifeforms in and of themselves. If I had a child, there are definitely certain episodes I wouldn't let him/her watch until I knew he/she could bear it without being too disturbed by them.

Damn, must've missed this one! Nice idea dude. That actually would make a lot of sense and fit together fairly well. Although there seems to be a resurgance with Jazz lately so I'm not sure Hasbro would be killing him off. I'd like to think he's alive & well, but it's a great idea to think about and a definite possibility.

We know Jazz is alive in Exiles (the sequel to FoC). So I'm wondering if he dies somewhere between Exiles and Prime, which (again) would explain how Cliffjumper "knows what Arcee is going through."

I don't think Makeshift moved very much. Did he?
