Wasn't Grimlock's original quote "Among the winners, there is no room for the weak"?
Those "ancient" guys from the movies were the Original Primes, which are also in this series and have little to do with the Predacons being Cybertronian dinosaurs.G1 Smoketreader wrote:>>>>>Sayin it's an obvious next step after the ancient buildings with Cybertronian markings on them in the Bayverse and therefore neither original nor overly surprising.
All he did was get zapped. Maybe some burn marks would have worked, but considering how the episode was almost over, twould have been a waste of CGI resources for just a few seconds of screentime.G1 Smoketreader wrote:>>>>> Megz damage should look as nasty as the damage to Prime after the base collapsed, considering it's damage inflicted by Primes' comeback from near death.
Wheeljack doesn't like Ultra Magnus because Ultra Magnus is a by-the-book stiff. Wheeljack likes doing things his own way, the Wreckers way, whereas Ultra Magnus was put in charge of the Wrecker to keep a tight leash on them in the past, which no doubt bothered Wheeljack and explains why Jackie dislikes being babysat by Magnus.G1 Smoketreader wrote:>>>>>Wheeljack is not emotionally attached to Bulkhead (Bulkhead is the one who is happy to see WJack). *LOL* the one above is from Arnies' Conan the Barbarian,then...forget I said anything. Sorry folks.

Remeber the photos of the ancient buildings that the sector 7 guy shows to Sam with the Cybertronian words on them, and the big sun harvester that the Pyramid was built around? All he did was get zapped. I know, but I don't care. I expect equal damage visibility from Megz and OP when they fight inflict it to each other.Wheeljack doesn't like Ultra Magnus because Ultra Magnus is a by-the-book stiff. I agree. But they just better not twist this into a flashback where Wheeljacks individuality is 'right' and Ultra Magnus' responsiblity is 'wrong'.What does race have to do with anything?G1 Smoketreader wrote:>>>>>"No Known weaknesses" is from the very end of Megz original Tech Spec. Predaking may be very powerful, but he's still mortal.

What does that even mean?
>>>>>Not for the first or last time that you will say you don't get it,even if you do- it means the writers are using a simple story with basic archetypes and acting like it's a fancy story with fancy archetypes. They not only changed established characters and their cgi mannequins needlessly-wasting LOTS of money that could be saved in the process and consequently diminishing the potential cast and core toy line- to suit their textbook plot sequencing, they also dragged out a story about stalemates into a long grind about stalemates that got episodes cut this season because Everyone else finally worked out that it could have been told cheaper and more succinctly. Right, because anyone who knows anything about power cores knows that they're immediately lethal.

>>>>>If you didn't get it when it happened in the show, you should look at it again. To me it was one of the best moments and messages in any TF show ever.
Smokescreens' double take on his self interpretation accidentally made him realize something about growing up and that rank is achieved internally first: Instead of feeling he was still being treated like a rookie, he realized he was far beyond the position of still acting like one.
This is as valuable a concept for me to see coming from a TF show as his original Function (Diversionary Tactician) when I was little. That shaped my outlook a lot then. This latest gem supports something I tell rookies I work with now, which I can't deny is influenced by my old Sscreen toy to begin with. Therefore, I am extremely proud to see it coming from Smokescreen who, as I have said many times, I am very disappointed to not be providing the example of 'most trusted, yet most devious of all Autobots' and 'Diversionary Tactica' to more TF fans since I consider the whole bag to be of massive developmental value to a young persons' mind and pack/gang/family role.G1 Smoketreader wrote:Wheeljack: Got a problem with Ultra Magnus now? His previously established disdain for authority doesn't automatically imply a tragic past. It certainly didn't with Starscream.

Miko proved her chops back with that Hardshell incident.
I'm glad she's actually pulling her weight, but God, can we draw a line under this and keep the humans out of the firefights from now on?
