For starters, no teenager wants to be seen with their mother in public. Much less so when their a social outcast like Jack. Much less so pressed together on a motorcycle. And much less so when that motorcycle happens to be more-or-less marked "kill-on-sight" by the Decepticons.

I like for my mother to be in public. In fact, I hate when I'm alone in public. Some one is always watching. I can't take that risk.

Optimus Prime: "Wheeljack -- I know of him by reputation only." - Optimus does not know Wheeljack personally. Interesting.

"Makeshift"? Was that a name or an order? EDIT: Nevermind, it's a name. We get new Bot and new Con in this one!

Blasted Vehicon Seekers! Big mistake shooting down "Jacky's" ship!

Ooh! Wheeljack's got removable Mouthplate cover like Optimus!

Makeshift had such confidence for a while at first. It seems like, once he found out how long it would take to defrag the Ground Bridge's systems, he kinda stopped trying to keep up Wheeljack's personality.

Why is Arcee still bagging on Bulkhead?

Vehicons speak again.

Even though Makeshift is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, he sounds like Frank Welker.

I hope Makeshift wasn't killed by that bomb. He's an interesting character and would make for some good episode plots.

Bulkhead: "Jacky never stays, but he alwasy comes back." - Hear that? He'll be back.

Next week, human soldiers are the enemy.

-Really liked Wheeljack...or...Make Shift? Which one did I actually like?

-New Vehicon model, some kind of Jet thingy.

-Raf can do the robot. Appropriately enough, so can Bumblebee.

-Bulkhead and Wheeljack were part of the Wreckers, which officially makes them both 82% more awesome.

-Anyone else kind of irked they didn't give Make Shift his own model? From the looks of things, it was just a Vehicon jet.

-Wheeljack's voice sounded familiar, but I can't a name in the cast list. Sounded kind of like Liam O'Brien's voice for Air Raid in WfC.

-Anyone else irked Wheeljack didn't stay?

-Miko is trying her hardest to endear herself, but she's still not there yet. But then "best human in Transformers" is basically like "best way to get hit in the crotch."

-Ah, the old "reveal the impostor by proving he doesn't know certain elements of a story that he'd know better than anyone."

-Anyone else think for a minute that was the real Wheeljack that Bulkhead tossed through the Ground Bridge?

-You know, if Soundwave tried to prevent Megatron from hitting Wheeljack, Soundwave would have to learn to do things with only one arm. thus reaffirming that no matter where he is in life, no one is going to deal with Starscream's crap.

-While Starscream was...screaming, just for a moment, Steve Blum sounded like he switched back to Jamie from Megas XLR.

-I know I'm missing like 50 other details about the episode, but I'm trying to juggle like five different things, while at the same time playing Beat the Clock, before the TFWiki gets flooded and basically shuts down.

OK, good episode, but not great. The episode name defiantly fit. Though i think they missed out on alot of potential.
First off, we get two new characters, Wheeljack and Makeshift. Alittle disappointed that wheeljack wasn't the "mad scientist' that were used to seeing him as, but the fact that he was a wrecker along with Bulkhead was a definite plus. Great character though. I like that he had a similar retracting face mask like Optimus. Didn't see that coming. And though I'm glad he wasn't killed off like Skyquake, i do wish he would have stayed. Or at least minimum picked a vehicle mode while visiting. But i guess this means he could make a return at any time in the series.

Makeshift was cool, but i felt we really didn't get to know "him". I mean we didn't even get to see his bot mode and with him now destroyed, we can forget ever seeing him. Thats a shame as i think that character could have had alot of potential.

Another great episode! I was surprised about it not being the real Wheeljack, but the way they found him out was pretty cliche.
I really wish he had stayed, I like a big cast, it makes things way more interesting. My one complaint continues that each episode is kinda independent, rather than adding a character, or any kind of cliffhanger type thing

I don't think he's dead. The way Starscream scolded him after that explosion would seem to indicate that he's alive. Injured, but alive. Otherwise, it would have been pointless for Screamer to yell at a dead bot.

Actually, his overall shape seems a little more detailed than that of the Vehicons. He's got lots more spikes, a bigger body build, and a unique set of eyes. Hope you're eyes are feeling strong right now, cuz this is the best look we're given of him.

Ah, so it would seem. this can mean one of two things:

1. You're right, and he's not dead, because why would the render a whole new model just to never show it can kill off the character.

2. He IS dead, and that model doesn't have any textures, and was only meant to be seen in silhouette like that.

Good episode, big improvement on last week. Wheeljack is a quality character. I hope some new bot's and cons do join the ranks permanently though

I gotta say that Optimus is starting to irk a little. He's always so overly serious and everything he says needs to be inspiring and lyrical. I know that he is in charge in a tough situation but he needs a little light to go with the dark.

On the whole though TF:Prime is shaping up to be one of the best.

All this week I've had a mental itch that Eradicons will be used to generate the Stunticons, and that wreckers will appear in Prime in time- after all each TF is unique, the Eradicons are just wearing a uniform...
And then Makeshift happens, and two wreckers are annonced. WooHooo!!!

Wheeljack was a wrecker? With Bulkhead? Interesting direction.I guess there could easily have been a militia unit created by the wrecker core after 'the scattering' to keep up an orgainsed military presence.A hypothesis, but I wouldn't put it past them.

Wheeljacks ship makes for an interesting future Altmode possibility for someone.

So Wheeljack's moving on.Pity, but he's arguably more useful on the road. In lieu of fears of the possibility that this episode will kill him off, well, at least he survived.

Pity that we lose him as an inventor now, tho maybe his existing inventions are strategy based rather than gadget based- hence his journey to map out and see.

Why would Soundwave want the prisoner protected from Starscream?

Another really good episode overall. I agree that Wheeljack should have stayed with the others, but we'll see him again.

Actually, this ship's brick-that-can-fly design reminded me of Topspin(another Wrecker...). Could this be some kind of an easter egg

They're actually called "Vehicons". We were apparently mistaken about the "Eradicon" name.

Maybe a re-reference to a human villain from Animated? Or else early orientation training for us regarding the 'Autobots go home' subplot from Dotm?
As long as it's not a Cobra soldier from G.I. Joe, I'm cool with it.

Once again, I loved Starscream in this episode. Although I really wish he'd get into some hand-to-hand contact with the Autobots. But knowing Starscream, we'll probably never see that happen. I LOVED Makeshift (which means I liked Wheeljack, too), and I'm hoping he survived that blast. It seems that having a bot in one episode before leaving/dying is becoming a recurring theme in TFP. I sure hope not. It was nice to have a full view of Soundwave, especially leg and 'stabilizing servo' structure. Starscream has heels and Soundwave has loafers - I love it. I very much enjoy how they have put those two in the limelight. Thought it was interesting that Soundwave chose to prevent Screamer from hitting Wheeljack. A rare instance of 'Con compassion, perhaps? Oh, and Screamer coughing and yelling after getting hit in the mouth = gold.

Anyways, can't wait for next Friday's episode.

Con job was actually pretty neat. I'm still not overly fussed with some of the animation but for what it is it's quite good.

I kinda wish Wheeljack would have exploded something due to his usual characterisation - but I liked the road they took with him being a Wrecker. Wasn't sure what I thought of the battle mask, but it worked. Missed the fin flashing though.

Well, he took out Make Shift and presumably a ship load of Vehicons with a big explosion. And they made a point that grenades are a big part of his style. So it kind of counts.

Con Job was real good I like this episode way better than Scrapheap was such as suck job episode there.

I liked how they cloned Wheel Jack using Make Shift but I would love to seen more of Make Shift in is original Con Body.

These episodes are getting more interesting by the minute looking forward to Convoy then Deus EX Machina.

Has anyone noticed that no one ever transforms in this show? It's called Transformers, but no one ever Transforms!!!

Also, what is it with Optimus? Why does everyone always want to kill him, and why is he always gone? The show's subtitle is called "Prime" So I assume in this show, Optimus will have something to do with something else that is important.
