Seriously, I just check through this guy's posts and every single one of them is either an unanswerable question, a question based on assumptions alone, and/or a question based on false information.

But to get things back on topic, I'm surprised no one's made a "Samurai Jack" joke about Wheeljack.

Episode 10 -

So, if Bulkhead was a construction worker before the war, does that make him a former Constructicon (since that's what that labor caste was called even before the rise of the war factions)?

Breakdown and Knockout? Snap! We're getting two Cons with this one!

Ratchet: "I hate talking to machines." - Oh, the irony.

Why do I get the feeling that both the T-Rex skeleton and the Easter Island head were intentional references to Night at the Museum?

Oh, snap! Soundwave ambushed the boys! Knew they'd meet again.

Guard: "Look, kid, if this is some kind of prank, you need to know that the authorities are on their way. It would got a lot easier for you if you just told me what happened to the sphere."
Miko: "I was researching my history report. I just lost track of time and got locked in here after Closing."
Guard: "So what's your history report about? I'd love to know."
Miko: "Uhhh..." - Smooth, Miko. Real smooth.

That may have been a Vehicon, but that was still an unmerciful death.

Why doesn't Bulkhead contact Optimus about the whereabouts of Starscream and the Energon Harvester?

Fowler: "Off you go." - Really, Fowler? Not a word of scolding for her at all? No words of discipline or caution? No warnings of any kind? Your slipping, Fowler. Really slipping here.

Next week... there's no preview. Episode 11, "Speed Metal", doesn't air until April 8. :-(

Well Fowler understands that they HAD to steal it in the first place due to his absence, and they needed to get it before the cons (which they failed at).

Did anyone else think that the construction vehicles in Greece were gonna make Devastator for a second? That would've been insane!

But still, I love that Fowler had some practical use by bailing out Miko, and that we got two new characters and some great action. I am getting tired of the new characters dying and/or running away, I would prefer if the cast grew as time went on.

Yeah, but I would have liked to have him say something like "You should have called me to handle it," which would have led to some humorous "WE DID!"-esque reactions from the others.

YRQRM0 wrote:Did anyone else think that the construction vehicles in Greece were gonna make Devastator for a second? That would've been insane!
Nah, there were only about two or three of those vehicles there. Devastator in this series is formed by about seven Constructicons, though tere's many more of them than that. If enough Constructicons come together, two Devastators can be formed at the same time.

I have a feeling that Knockout (and Breakdown) will play a role in accelerating Megatron's recovery. Had the Energon Harvester not been destroyed, I'll bet that they would have used it heal Megatron with collected energon.

I do wish they would stop letting the Autobots win every episode. Again, another reason I liked Animated. No one was ever winning in that show. If the Autobots won an episode, the Decepticons had a back up, and if the Decepticons won, the Autobots had a backup plan. Here, the Autobots just win everything. I'm just glad the 2 new Decepticons didn't die though; that's a first for this series.

And I can't be the only one to notice that the harvester looks A LOT like the Pieces of Eden from Assassin's Creed. Look it!

I wouldn't call this a "win" exactly. No one got the Harvester in the end. It would have proven very useful in Autobots hand just as it would have in Decepticon hands.

Plus, i'd say that it's more of a victory for the Cons since they needed both Knock Out and Breakdown to help in Megatron's recovery. That's the main reason Starscream called them to his aid. With them still around, they're free to speed up Megs' recuperation.

I read about him in the Exodus novel. It's all the same continuity family and the makers of TF: Prime have stated to derive much of the material in this show from that book.

This is Transformers. If the Autobots lose, then it's a two-parter and they win in the next part. That's pretty much the formula since the beginning of the series.

On Megatrons behalf, he was probably kept alive by the Dark Energon in his spark chamber.

And even if Makeshift's explosion was small, it was very close to him and we don't know how strong the bang was.

That was an improvement on last weeks episodes, really enjoyed it.

Good to see 2 new 'cons. I hope they're in it for a while and not just disappear next episode. Our of the 2 i preferred Knock Out, Breakdowns robot form didn't really have that much detail.

It'll be a long wait till the 8th!

Calm the ass down, I'm not making assumptions. No Decepticon has ever come back after an episode so far. Skyquake didn't come back, and Makeshift didn't come back either. We're stuck with 2 Decepticons and a bunch of drones.

You want to know why it's taking 3 weeks for the next episode? I bet because they have to take all that time to render more than 4 Decepticon designs.

And for some reason, the word "con" annoys me. IDK why, but I hate when they say that! Why can't they say Decepticon? Maybe to degrade them or something by cutting off 75% of their actual name.

You do realize that they completed the first 26 episodes ages ago. They're currently working on the second season right now. They don't make these episodes and then air them immediately once they're complete. They make them well in advance to their airdate.

In fact, the conception of the Transformers: Prime cartoon originally began several years ago. This isn't some recently-conceived series. It's been planned well ahead of its airing schedule.

It's the Hub's fault for delaying its next episode's airing. TV networks like to rotate broadcast airings to keep viewers in anticipation from what's to come next.

This episode was pretty cool, not because I'm Greek but because the risk levels in this one and 'Convoy' are wavering a little before one group wins. I don't know why I don't feel the same about the Scraplet and Wheeldrift episodes.

The new new Decepticons would be dangerous as sub-lieutennants accompanied by Vehicon squads, considering their totally different fighting styles, likelihood to fight in tandem, and healthy dose of deceptiveness in close quarters. I REALLY liked the fight choreography outside the Museum.

I was expecting Bulkhead to twin Energon-Mace the Harvester to death.Maybe Energon-on-Energon impact results in catastrophic explosion.

I've declared I'm a huge appreciator of background rendering. The Archaeological site was a sweeeet example of what to expect in a (major) Greek archaeological site. A couple of side comments since I work for Greek Archaeology, but NO complaints. These are just things I'm enthusiastic to share 'cuz I love the job: doesn't mean I demand they be in the episode-I loved the episode as it was:

*There are always guards at the site after hours. I suppose Breakdown killed them. Also, teams who find a grave don't go home until it's been completely emptied out so it doesn't get robbed or disturbed by weather, wildlife etc.(There's also no shift change-the specific team will keep going into the night, even during a storm-but this doesn't mean there had to be a team working there after hours).
*Excavation always carries on beyond the Classic layer to the later Paleolithic layers at least. The initial Paleolithic settlements are often right under the Classical Graveyards, since the proto-settlers initially buried their dead under their homes, then gradually began to distance themselves from the dead. The show appears to only show the Classic layer, but I'm not upset at all.
*That Amphitheatre was huge, but there was no discernible stage. Was the fresco wall part of the stage? It looked like part of the Agora square.
*The thrown column would have split into multiple segments. They were made in segments and then stacked onto one another.Doesn't matter, it worked as great cinematography from the Mikos'-eye-view.
*The bit high up on the mountainside was the Acropolis (in case it didn't dawn on anybody). Excavations begin from the highest point above sea level and go down to avoid the lower layers reflooding during rain and mudslides.
*Greece isn't desert. The barren landscape happens because the entire site is 'shaved' of green life (except for the odd shady lunch tree so that the Archaeologists can see what's extruding above ground).
*Heavy Earth moving equipment doesn't traditionally appear except at the immediate survey period at the start or the build a Supermarket on top of it all period at the end.(And I'm iffy about heavy Earth moving equipment existing en masse in Egypt as portrayed in rotf as well). They usually dig 'survey trenches' (don't know how to translate effectively) perimetrically to the main side to see what comes up. Usually, these are long, person-height-deep lined by shattered roofing tiles, pottery (it's everywhere) and the occasional metal artefact or stone artefact.

I hope everybody enjoyed the imagery. Me and Mrs Smoketreader are deeply thankful for the treat (Yes, she even paused and followed the show!).
Now,let's see what country they visit next.
"Everyone has a hobby.Even people who say they don't still have one under another name.If we're sick, injured, we still go to it and get down to see how it is.If it needs something, we bring it,make sure the attention is perfect. It exercises our care and protection and gives us back philosophies. It's a living thing to us,and is the most perfect way to teach a young person how to be towards a living thing. It's something that should never be taken away."

I really like this episode. I loved that Knockout and Breakdown are new characters not based on their movie-verse and G1 counterparts respectively. Knockout looked a lot like Terrorsaur but acted somewhat like Tracks. Enjoyable from start to finish.

Looking forward to more episodes and more toys from the show.

Just saw the recent episode Dues Ex Machina.
One word........Pointless.
Get to back Megatron already. Enough with the story arc crap. I just watched 20min of something that does not progress the story at all. Now the writers are just jerking us around. I'm so tired of Megatron always being incapacitated in every frigging universe or series now. I don't see any reason to make so many filler eps. Good writers could come up with continuos connective stories from one ep to the next And not have to drag it out.

It's like if I talk really slow and say,

I..........have..........to...............go..............to................the..............store............today.

And saying that I have a lot to say.

Get to the point!
Starscream had the Harvester for a whole 3min and then it was destroyed and then he flew away. That's it?! All this waiting around all week for that? Waste of time. This ep was more about Miko's dumb book report than anything else.
10 episodes into this series already and I'm still waiting every week for the story to continue and pick up where it left off. Definitely my least fav episode. It's not even favored at all in my book.

I think you missed the point of the episode all together. It introduced two new Decepticons, which EVERYONE has wanted from episode 6 and it also introduced new lore into this series: Energon Harvesters. This sets up a story line as to why there were ancients there so long ago.

Plus it's for kids so you know it will go a little slower then older fans for the series would like so they can get into it. Looking back at Beast Wars, there were some pretty "pointless" episodes in there too.

Ok I see what you mean. The Harvester,.... fine. Bringing in Two new Cons,.... fine. Setting up why the Transformers are there on earth,..... fine. But they could have done all that 5 episodes ago after they got Megatron already back up and running. They dont need all these spread out side stories that only drag the series slower. Scraplets???????? They should have re arranged the layout of the stories and compressed information for a more smoother quicker story which would lead to more stories and situations between the Autobots and Decepticons. Instead were taking 3 months just to tell how Megatron is going to walk again.
And kids are not dumb. I dont buy that anymore.
My 6 year old niece has a ipod touch and plays games on it, sends text messages and she can even get on a computer and search Youtube videos. My 8 year old little cousin can act and mimic everything he see on TV. Kids are smart and Its a Cartoon for crying out loud.
I was smart enough to follow G1 when I was a kid and that was fast story telling. If anything kids dont have the attention span to follow a series to long. There not watching shows like 24 or Bones or Prison Break for christ sake.
Im sticking to my opinion. They are wasting too much time with fillers.

Now get them to watch Ghost in the Shell, or read Catcher in the Rye, or some manner of intelligent fiction. See how long they can follow that. Doesn't take a whole lot of brain power to send a text message or look something up on YouTube.

NiteStar wrote:I was smart enough to follow G1 when I was a kid and that was fast story telling.

That was fast storytelling because stories were over in 20 minutes. You're complaining about how this series doesn't move on with it's main story, well, G1 didn't even have one of those. Beast Wars did, Animated did, the Unicron Trilogy did, G1 had no such thing.

So then what's the problem? Kids have short attention spans, so, filler stories.

We're only 10 episodes in to a 26 episode season. Not even the half-way point. So you don't know that everything that's been done so far was pointless.

well thats the theme of this series. It's trying to copy animated. that and it was a Miko centered episode which explains why anyone would hate it
