The closest we ever got to this kind of genuine strong female characterization in an Autobot/Maximal in a TF cartoon (outside of BW Blackarachnia, who was reduced to "the Chick" in BM) was Energon Arcee, yet she played a very minor role in that series, only really playing big roles in her debut and maybe once or twice afterward (Cybertron Override doesn't count as "genuine" since she was gender-bent from the male Nitro Convoy. She was only a strong female lead due to originally being a strong male lead).

and I'm not trying to say the formula of a Autobot team is bad I'm just saying Prime didn't even try to make different characters but just took the left over names of Animated and added Arcee.

And? They kept the names but changed the characters.

I already do because I didn't read the rest of the comment. You know I'm amazed nobody retorted about me disliking Autobots killing humans. I know theres two exceptions bein Sideswipe and Jazz but that different. Sideswipe mercy killed Hunter because the poor guy was screwed up beyond repair. And Jazz killed that cop to protect Bumblebee and Hoist but unlike Arcee in Prime Jazz already show signs of guilt and as preview for next issue says "nobody dies but someone wish they did".

That's because Arcee isn't a wuss, and doesn't feel bad about killing in self defense. Mind you, these are people who wanted a device that could be used to obliterate a good portion of the country. I'd say a couple humans dead is worth preventing that. She's a soldier, not a pansy.

From what I heard and read he was pushed into getting the energon harvester by Miko. and even then he proceeds to puss out during the episode. should have just left during the fourth episode. and not all Human characters are useless

Well I have no watch Deus ex. my thoughts. pointless. the fact that it was a Miko pysudo-center episode made me want to put rusty nails under my finger nail the title should have been called Mcguffen since that all the energon harvester was. And if Starscream wanted his plan to work he should have gotten like 13 more guy's but then again the premise of the show has to rely on Starscream being an idiot. but there is good to this episode (I know shock I'm saying something good) and it's in two words. Daran Norris He is one of my favorite voice actors and the fact that he plays a Decepticon version of Tracks tickles me in the right places. Also like the fact Optimus doesn't give a crap about Miko as well. 2/5 now I have to wait for more pointless filler when Jack uses Bumblebee to impress girls this is starting to sound familiar.

Starscream didn't need 13 more guys, Breakdown and Knockout and managed to beat Optimus, Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead on their own. Also, I dunno about this being a Miko-centric episode, it gives more focus to Bulkhead at about the half-way point. And it's not that Optimus didn't give a crap about Miko, he just knew Fowler was her only escape route, and he had to go deal with the Decepticons making use of an item that can kill any Cybertronian it gets pointed at. Priorities.

Not like Starscream being an idiot is new. "Complete failure" happens to be a major part of the Decepticon way of life, and Starscream is probably the only one who exhibits it more than Megatron. Incidentally, "an only-okay plan that fails spectacularly at the last second" is Megatron's signature. Think about it, how many times has Megatron ever gotten his hands on some new super-weapon, without eventually losing it to the Autobots or having it blow up in his face?

It's not that he's an idiot, but that his ego clouds his better judgement. He probably figured that he wouldn't need a whole bunch of back up since he had a Knock Out and Breakdown with him, who, as stated, were more than enough to take down the Autobots.

Plus, how could anyone count on Bulkhead going through the Harvester's energon beam to destory it? Doing so was considered (by everyone) to be suicide. Bulkhead seriously could have died had he not been quick enough.

Gotta say I'm liking Breakdown he knows what the fans want. makes me think on what the other stunticons are like be awesome if Motormaster was voiced by Lemmy Kilmister. And then we should get a Reflector who acts like the Collector General in ME2

The Collector General didn't act like anything. Never spoke, barely even moved. You're making the common misconception of confusing the Collector General with Harbinger, the Reaper who often takes control of various Collectors on the ground, like Sovereign did with Saren at the end of the first game. You see him at the very end of the game, first as a holographic projection talking to the Collector General, (Again, like how Shepard spoke with Sovereign on Virmire in the first game) then as part of the Reaper Fleet.

So did they. We got new, interesting versions of Starscream and Soundwave, and Knock Out and Breakdown are still with the living. And Megatron is more or less probably still alive.

Okay, I get what you're saying with the first part; crazy scientist who experiments on his own troops. Not too different from what Shockwave did with Trypticon in Exodus. But you really lost me at the end there.

And even if he replaces Starscream, watch as it all unravels spectacularly around him. Everyone's acting as if Starscream is this big failure because he can't win anything, but I seem to be the only one who recognizes this kind of failure occurs no matter who is leading. How many of Megatron's plans have gone right? In fact, Starscream is failing less since his assassination attempts are no longer in the mix.

It's been officially stated that Soundwave can talk, he just chooses not to. He's taking a lesson from Gordon Freeman from Half-Life; you don't needs words to be awesome.
