Unless we're talking about Shattered Glass, Optimus has a tendency to keep innocent life alive as much as he possibly can...MECH isn't innocent.
That kid was not innocent, he bullied people. People could have died!
Sure, because people have been known to be killed from being picked on and called names. You're harsh.

So, apparently, by this logic, anyone who's seen as a bully is also a force of pure evil that must executed at all costs.
Seriously, there is a difference between teasing with someone to make them feel bad and actually being criminally villainous.
What is your beef with wanting innocent people who seem only somewhat irritating dead?
I hate to go off topic, but I really think you need to watch this episode of Static Shock.
What the bullies in this episode did to that kid was wrong, but his way of dealing with them at the end was even more wrong. Getting even with the bullies by resorting murder is never the answer. He had friends and other people that he could have turned to to seek help from. But he chose the path of cold revenge and look what happened. An innocent person got seriously injured and the kid himself got sentenced to Juvie. I understand that he felt scared, frustrated, and pressured to take action against them, but there's always the choice to be the better man. Take the higher road and not let the intimidation get to him. It definitely isn't easy, I know (having been verbally abused, myself), but it's still the right thing to do.
It's the same case with Vince in this episode. Sure he made Jack feel humiliated, but he's no nowhere near bad enough to be needing to be killed. He's just trying to act big and cool, putting down on the unpopular guy. But, that's a pretty trivial offense when compared to the likes of Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, Osama Bin Laden, and other terrors of the real world.
And, in the end, Jack was man enough to not let Vince get to him, knowing that he doesn't have to prove anything to Vince to show what kind of person he is.

So, what? He was kind of a jerk, so he should be sentenced to death? I really hope your numerous posts similar to this one are all jokes. Bad jokes that only you're laughing at.

Lot better episode than previous now I look even more forward to future episodes such as Predatory and Sick Mind.
This was indeed an action pack episode that had much drama in it.
I look forward to seeing what happens with the human characters in the future indeed this isnt your daddy's Trandformers of the past and is indeed alot darker than it's previous predecessor's.
I made me another new duo these guys can control time either freezing it or stoping it altogether they are Twins and can combine into one they are also Decipticons I call them Clockstopper & Time Freeze sort of like how Knockout & Breakdown are unknown what I will choose for their Transformations.
But indeed this was a good episode shocking and exciting indeed a dark twist in the world of Transformers.
I highly appreciated Optimus just picking Knockout up and ripping his door off. I LOL'ed at that. Just a reminder that even if he's somewhat stuffy, Prime is still a bad ass.
Speed Metal: I did not watch it in full. I literally fast forwarded through this episode just to find some progression of Megatron and nothing. Infact the episode looks like a rip off of TFA episode "Velocity". I will keep fast forwarding through each episode every week till it has something to do with Megatron. And I doubt I will miss anything besides a new character here and there.
This one was surprising. A Knock Out episode! Never would have guessed him to be a speed freak. New humans (in CG, that's quite a feat to be adding so much to the world at once) with an emphasis on just why Optimus is so concerned with mixing with the masses: when Bot and Humans mix, humans tend to get hurt, or worse. On an R rated show I doubt Fasthole would be so lucky as to be alive. Loved the bait and switch where we though it was a Jack/Arcee show and suddenly he's cruising in Bee (only to realize too late that he doesn't speak 'bleep boop bleep". LOL). Also like the new predicament set out for Jack. As Sierra opens up as a person, he realizes he is not as free to do whatever he wants as he used to be. He has a greater responsibility than he used to (and a target on his head). I feel bad for Bee. When Raf gets old enough to want to bang braces with someone in his back seat, it won't be pretty. Nerd love can be so uncomfortable for those forced to watch.

Honestly, why not just let Knock Out have his time in the spotlight? As I said before, it's rare that an episode gives focus to a non-major Decepticon who isn't Megs/Screamer/Soundwave. That is a step in the right direction.

No cuz its a big chunk of the story that's been left unanswered for over four monts now. (not sarcasm) Sorry, but from the live action movie to TFA to now TF Prime, Megatron always being incapacitated and making us wait for him is really getting old.

No offense intended, but you didn't expect the 'Con with a car alt mode that he has expressed his love of on a couple occasions not to be a speed freak?
I didn't think this weeks episode was the best to come back on either. To much squishy human, not enough skidplate kicking.
Knockout is currently my favourite Decepticon in TF:Prime.
Also, that kid was a bully? Seriously is that what gets considered a bully in TF:Prime? At my old school that kid would have been the one to get bullied. Also am I the only one who thought he kinda looked like Arthur from Disney's The sword in the stone?

Why not complain about the shade of red on Optimus? It would be just as legitimate. Seriously, it's been answered. Megatron is incapacitated, Starscream is in command. Megatron will likely come back online at a later occasion. Have you never heard of season-wide story arcs? It's where they have a plot thread that lasts through multiple episodes, typically an entire season.

I think the shade of red on Optimus is a much smaller deal than the main bad guy in a series being out of order for a huge chunk of episodes. This is now the second TV series where Megatron, who is supposed to be the baddest bot anywhere, is not functioning.
The plot line they have with Starscream is interesting and all, but I would have preferred that they develop the interaction of Starscream and Megatron over the span of more episodes. They established that SS was leading until Megs appeared again. When Megs returned SS became his b*t%# again. But then they killed off Megatron and went back to SS being the leader in the span of 2 episodes. I don't think there was enough done to show how those to co-exist, or even why SS is even kept around.
If they are trying to show that SS is an inept leader by constantly failing, they are doing a good job. But doing this implies that the Decepticons are only failing because Megatron is out of commission. The only way this idea works is if Megatron comes back and completely destroys the Autobots and takes over the planet. Otherwise they could have just used Megatron as the antagonist for the whole show.
Don't get me wrong here, I love this show. But i don't think NiteStar was way off by saying what he said about having Megatron around longer.
Motto:"May God have mercy on my enemies, because I sure as hell won't."
The thing is, if Megatron was in charge, then he'd be the one constantly failing. You know, like every episode of the franchise? But it's Starscream's plans that are constantly failing this time.
I'd rather they keep the anticipation going. Don't just have him wake up and take over like nothing happened, save it for a special occasion (Season Finale, for instance) then make a big deal out of it.

Well, I just watched speed metal and here are my thoughts.
1: I agree the guy who scratched Breakdown at the beginning should realistically have been pulverized.
2: Nice little story hook about the racing and getting caught up in it accidentally. I liked it.
3: I'll be pleased if the Sierra girl finds out about the TFs and becomes a member of the little protectorate. Then again, scrap her for using Jack for a ride.Superficial miss so and so...The other racer kid would make an interesting member too, more hot blooded even than Miko, but his personality grates compared to the other kids.
4:Hope Breakdown has a permanent scar and missing door.Breakdown by name....
5:Megatrons' memorial is coming up.If nothing happens and he stays dead, expect the unpredicted.
6:Breakdown reminds me of RTS Windcharger.
7:Bumblebee doesn't even sound like he's trying to talk.
8:Arcee is too big in bot mode or too little in AltMode. So much for killing g1 in order to address its flaws.Poor effort.

Not to point anything out, but...
YOU MISTAKENED BREAKDOWN FOR KNOCK-OUT! Or is it the other way around?...
Anyway, I agree on point 3 with you. At least to a certain point. I wouldn't mind if Sierra became an 'Autobot Ally', but someone random from the racers... Well, that doesn't quite work for me.

This has gotten me thinking about soemthing again. I've actually kind of always wondered what it would be like for the Autobots to have a juvenile delinquent for a human sidekick, instead of just some goody-goody person who can do no immoral wrong (Kicker wasn't a delinquent, he just had a bad attitude, so he doesn't count).

I think you're confusing Breakdown for Knock Out. Breakdown's the big guy, Knock Out's the red flamboyant Con.
