This reply is for both Saberblade and Shadowman. First of all Saberblade, I just wanted to thank you for providing some information by bringing up some few examples of those Transformers that contain both beast and vehicle modes at the same time. You know, I wish that you could provide more characters that do have these same abilities. You see, Shadowman, this is exactly what I was talking about. Because of this information that Saberblade just showed to me, it is likely that Airachnid may have a vehicle mode, just like the ones that Saberblade just showed to me earlier. However, as for Airachnid, this is just our speculation. At this point, we can't confirm anything, regarding on Airachnid just yet, until we see her again, mostly likely in the next week's episode called, "Sick Mind". In this episode, Arcee is in this episode. And Arachnid is currently Arcee's main rival. So I'm sure that if Arcee do appear in this episode, there is a very great chance that Airachnid may show up again, thus possibly giving a full detail of Airachnid herself. Airachnid did survived, and promised to fight Arcee in another day. But we'll see what happens.

No. That post of mine was in no support for Airachnid getting a new altmode. I repeat. SHE DOESN'T NEED ONE! She alreayd has two modes. She doesn't need a vehicle mode!

NO!! Just becuase Arcee appears does not mean Airachnid will. Airachnid has nothing to do with this next episode! This episode deals with Optimus getting sick and Arcee/BB sneaking onto the Nemesis for a cure. Airachnid has nothing to do with any of that! We have NO idea when she will appear again. :BANG_HEAD:

That's what we've been trying to tell you!

There's no logic in that statement at all. Just because their rivals doesn't mean Airachnid has to appear in EVERY Arcee-centric episode.

EDIT: Sick Mind is currently available for Video On Demand. I HAVE VOD. Expect my horrible spoiler-tacular report shortly. (It helps that I can rewind and pause, now I can get my details more accurate)

Sick Mind was enlightening, exciting, enticing, engrossing and ...well...everything I love about this series. Bee and Ratchet in the lead this episode was nice to see. The opening was beautiful and creepy, and the scenes with Megatron were thrilling. It answered so many calls I see on this board; more Ratchet? (yes), how come the Bots can't just find the Nemesis any time they want and if they could, wouldn't they act? (yes), will the kids always save the day? (no! hooray!)and what's up with Megatron? (holy crap! what IS up with him!?). I cannot wait for the next episode! ;)^

Well, I was hoping someone would post YESTERDAY when I actually watched the episode. At least I remembered to save this to a notepad file.

All right, Sick Mind, let's get down to it:

-Optimus has an incurable, deadly virus spread through Energon. It's called the Cybonic Plague (If I spelled that right) but I will call it Robo-AIDS.

-Aw, Knockout's 'cosmetic' damage is fixed. Phooey. I was hoping he'd have a big disfiguring scar he'd have to deal with. Oh well, minor issue at most.

-Now they know Megatron is alive. So there's that. Arcee wants to kill him, but Ratchet suggests a Vulcan Mind Meld, but with robots instead of Vulcans, and Frank Welker instead of Leonard Nimoy.

-"Are you out of your fraggin' mind?" I love you Arcee.

-What makes Soundwave so special that Starscream can't simply do to him what he did to Knockout?

-"One shall stand, one shall fall!" That's practically Optimus' catchphrase at this point.

-Megatron dreams of constantly killing Optimus. I am not surprised at all.

-Okay, Megatron is the main villain this episode? Happy now?

-"Do I still function?" Nearly Megatron's catchphrase.

-Bumblebee still can't talk in Megatron's head? Kind of a letdown.

-Bee cuts Megatron a deal; Megatron will give Bee the cure for Robo-AIDS, and Bee will help Megatron get out so he can kill Optimus himself. Ratchet manages to record the image of the cut formula, so...deal's off.

-I lied, no it isn't. Megatron is living inside Bumblebee's head now.

-Hell of an episode! Really, after Predatory and now this, the series is really starting to pick up. And that's coming from someone who already really liked this series.

Episode 13 -

Optimus: "The Decepticons can wait. There may be Autobots in distress." -- :o :BANG_HEAD: I have never heard an Optimus line spoken so wooden and so flat as that one was. That line lacked any and all kinds of emotion. It's almost as if the guy was a rob-- Oh, wait.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but has the term "Stasis Mode" ever been used before now? I know of both "Stasis lock" and just "Stasis", but what about "Stasis Mode"?

I spy at least three "not-Perceptors" in that plague ship. Generics? Yup. :P

AT LAST! We have a spelling for the plague! "Cybonic" Plague (I was rattling my brain over whether it was "Cybonic/Sibonic/Saibonic/Sybonic/etc.) Thank you, Closed Captioning! Thank You! :D

If Megatron himself created the Cybonic Plague during the Great War, I wonder if there's any chance of its creation being covered in the upcoming Exiles novel. ;)

KAON's FIRST CARTOON APPEARANCE!

Frank Welker's back as Megs! (but not exactly as one had expected)

"One shall stand, one shall fall." - URRGH! I am SO sick of that line! it's like Optimus can never make any other battle banter aside from that line. It has outlived its fanservice value! EIGHT TIMES is too many! :BOOM:

          Okay... what I'm about to say, has shocked me. This episode... is the first actually plotworthy episode that we have gotten since the 5-part pilot. Granted, it wasn't as cool as "Predatory" was, but this episode cannot be called a "filler "in any way whatsoever. It even included a "TO BE CONTINUED..." at the very end. and, thanks to a spoiler that we heard about episode 14, it is safe to say that episdoe is the direct proverbial "Part 2" to this episode.

speaking of next week's episode, Megatron is back for realz, baby! 8-)

Yeah, that line is a classic, it should only ever have been used once. It's iconic, it's the final showdown between two of the greatest characters of their time.

This? This was just a mental show down, nothing iconic or classic about that but hey, let's milk the line to make the fanboys squeel in delight ...

Which is a shame because the whole "Bumblebee has Megatron in his head" thing will be wrapped up in the first few minutes no doubt.

Great way to end a cliffhanger ...

We've known about Megs possessing BB for a while now. And the current TV trailer for next week's episode clearly gives it away. I didn't hide it because it's become so well known online since.

Evil lincoln back! so I watch Sick mind it has once again displayed Decepticon incompetence WERE ARE THE GUARDS!? Seriously BB and Arcee were lucky they didn't ran into 1 Decepticon guard at all in the ship. Also I don't know what everyone was worried about Optimus dying give him 3 days he'll be back on his feet. Loved the joke Megatron made. And now we head into a predictable episode next week

That was a good episode, not up to last weeks standards but still enjoyable.

It would have been better if someone, anyone, other than Bumblebee had gone in Megs head. All that beeping and stupid noises really took any suspense out of it.

Please either give Bumblebee a proper voice, have him as a minor character or just kill him off completely. He is one of the main negatives about the whole series

I wonder that too. Personally, I think Starscream is afraid of Soundwave. Starscream's expression when Soundwave gets in his face and basically orders Starscream (silently of course) to reconnect Megatron practically screams this.

I'm still questioning where Soundwave's loyalties lie as far as individuals are concerned, but I think it's clear he has absolutely no faith in Starscream's abilities to lead the Decepticons.

Burn wrote:Which is a shame because the whole "Bumblebee has Megatron in his head" thing will be wrapped up in the first few minutes no doubt.

I think it will be longer than that; I think most of the episode, from what the trailer suggests, will be Megatron trying to escape the Autobot base and return to the Decepticon ship to reactivate himself.

Question is, what is he going to do to Starscream when he wakes up?

Exodus really goes into Soundwave as being the Decepticon's main man of espionage. Practically no secret could be kept from him, as he could access information from just about anywhere from anyone on Cybertron. He knew all, saw all, and kept it all tightly linked to Megatron.

As far as his loyalties lay, before the war officially began, he wasn't fully loyal to Megatron himself, but to the party that he viewed would ultimately have the best control of Cybertron's future (which turned out to be Megatron anyway). I take it that he doesn't see Starscream as one who has Cybertron's best interests in mind like Megatron does.

Sick Mind (AKA Transformers Inception) was pretty dang awesome. The stakes were high for both Megatron, Bumblebee and Arcee, and Opimus. Plus, I loved inside Megatron't head, the way Optimus never ceased to apper going "Megatron, your treachary ends here", that was funny.

This is one of those time BB REALLY needed a voice though, Soundwave too. Other than that, nothing to complain about. I'm happy we finally have an ending that leaves some suspense.

Five mins or an entire episode ... it's a story line that could be dragged out for a fair while with Megatron lurking in the mind of Bumblebee, studying the Autobots, learning all their secrets ... then slowly taking over Bumblebee until he's in full control, killing someone in his escape, making it look like Bumblebee has turned traitor.

Heck he can even use BB's body and rebuild it into a new one for himself.

Just be patient, guys! They said that they'll go into BB's voice issue at some point next season. This one is halfway over, so it's all down hill until season two begins.

Hence my disappointment.

They tease hints of the series being darker, and then lose the chance to do so.

Ideally it shouldn't have been Bumblebee that went, but rather Ratchet. After all, it's not like Ratchet and Megatron haven't shared a mind before ...

Ratchet seems to be taking a support role in this series. Not that that's a bad thing, although even Animated's Ratchet saw action every so often.

Two others I've noticed who don't seem to be doing much combat wise are Starscream and Soundwave. Niether have seen much combat since the series began, even though there have been instances where Starscream could have done more. Heck, Knock Out and Breakdown have done more fighting than either Starscream or Soundwave.

It's almost as if Ratchet is intentionally trying to avoid taking part in battle, as if he doesn't view himself as a warior or something. I wonder if something might have happened to him between Exodus/WFC and now to have made him want stay off the battlefield.

Archanubis wrote:Two others I've noticed who don't seem to be doing much combat wise are Starscream and Soundwave. Niether have seen much combat since the series began, even though there have been instances where Starscream could have done more. Heck, Knock Out and Breakdown have done more fighting than either Starscream or Soundwave.
In this case, it shouldn't be too surprising that the higher-ranking villains would have their minions do all the dirty work for them. It's a common trait of evil villains to have the underlings fight while the commanders give orders from afar. ;)

Definately seems to be the case here, especially with the Vehicon/Eradicon "mecha mooks." Although Megatron seems quite willing to jump into combat, especially if Optimus is on the battlefield.
