But Arcee did mention the Ark to Jack when Maggy showed up in Prime, so there IS or WAS an ark.

We know that; we saw it take off in Fall of Cybertron. We just don't know what happened to it after.

Eh? how does this tie in to FOC? coz that's what you'd be suggesting if it's the same Ark

Because officially, WFC/FoC are part of the same universe as TFP/RiD 2015/Rescue Bots. It's stupid, pointless and doesn't make a lot of sense, but they are officially the same universe.
WFC and FOC were both conceived to be part of the Aligned continuity just like Prime and RID 2015 were (Rescue Bots got shoehorned in, but they made it work well enough). It's just that the video games and the shows were produced independently from one another, with each having to make references to one another afterward.Stuartmaximus wrote:Kurona wrote:Stuartmaximus wrote:Kurona wrote:Flashwave wrote:Sabrblade wrote:If the Ark ever did sit there, that is, since we have no idea what happened to the Ark in this continuity after it left Cybertron through a space bridge and went on a planet-hopping adventure in space.Stuartmaximus wrote:D-Maximus_Primal wrote:So, An autobot base in Mt Saint Helens, weapons minicons wanting freedom, repaints of season 1 and 2 characters for the bad guys. huh

Well...in that case...i'm surprised they didn't just add the Bayverse in there as well! coz then we'd know what happened to the Ark.....it crashed onto the moon

Like, FOC deliberately gave Cliffjumper a head design beased on his Prime head, the Path Blaster was designed to look like an earlier version of Optimus's gun from Prime, and the design for the Nemesis in FOC is directly based on the ship's Prime cartoon design.
Likewise, the Prime cartoon started referring to the Great War as "the War for Cybertron" many times beginning with season 2, Cliffjumper (in Arcee's flashback episode) referred to a time when he once got lost in the Sea of Rust which was a whole level he was playable in in FOC, the Nemesis was revealed to have an intelligence of its own in one season 2 episode as a reference to the ship's having been reconfigured from WFC Trypticon in FOC (but which was first done by the Exodus and Exiles novels), Miko and Bulkhead directly referred to the FOC Dinobots in one episode in season 3, the Core of Cybertron seen a few times throughout the Prime cartoon used the same design for the Core as was seen in WFC, and more.
Not to mention that after FOC came out and both before and during the airing of Prime season 3, there were two comic mini-series being published that set out to directly connect the games to the Prime cartoon, which starred the FOC Dinobots. The first was called Rage of the Dinobots, which featured the Dinobots teamed up with Prime Ultra Magnus fighting Shockwave on Cybertron in a post-FOC setting in which we saw FOC Shockwave having upgraded himself into his Prime cartoon body and having begun his experiments with Predacons, which would bring about Predaking in Prime season 3. The series ended with the Dinobots and Magnus defeating (but not killing) Shockwave, and Magnus left Cybertron in a ship that would later bring him to Earth at the start of Prime season 3.
The second comic series was simply titled Beast Hunters, and had the FOC Dinobots trying to protect Cybertron and the last of its inhabitants from any remaining threats that existed on the planet in its very dead state, as we saw in the Prime cartoon. This comic series took place during season 3 the Prime cartoon, with Shockwave being on Earth in the show meant he was no longer on Cybertron in the comics. This story also featured FOC Kickback leading some Prime Insecticons, and another Predacon experiment of Shockwave's. The end of the story took place after Predacons Rising, with Cybertron having been restored in the cartoon taking its effect in the comics and the FOC Dinobots eventually got to reunite with Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead in the Prime cartoon designs.
Now, bear in mind that while all these connections have been made, FOC Grimlock is NOT the same guy as RID 2015 Grimlock. The creators of the RID 2015 cartoon tried to make FOC Grimlock's backstory work for RID 2015 Grimlock, but utimately, that backstory didn't work for them because it was too dark and dreary for the character they wanted to write for this show, so they simply wrote up a new Grimlock. Likewise, RID 2015 Sideswipe and RID 2015 Kickback are also considered different guys from WFC Sideswipe and FOC Kickback, as RID 2015 Sideswipe is younger than Bumblebee and didn't partake in the Great War like WFC Sideswipe did, while FOC Kickback was murdered in the Beast Hunters comics so RID 2015 Kickback couldn't possibly be him (and even if FOC Kickback didn't die, RID 2015 Kickback is too different from FOC Kickback to be the same guy anyway).
As for the Bayverse, the WFC/FOC games weren't "added in" like you say, so the notion of "adding in" the Bayverse is null and void. Besides, Rise of the Dark Spark already established the Bayverse and the WFC/FOC games as separate universes anyway.
Hope that clears things up.

o.supreme wrote:Found a really bad copy of Season 2 episode 16 "Pretzel Logic" on youtube. basically the highlight was an as yet unidentified Decepticon (perhaps a bounty hunter?) observing the battle between Grimlock & *Blue Bisk* (audio is so bad I cant make out his name)...but I do know Steve Blum's Starscream, so that was a treat to hear.
the only other take away for me was that we now know the Decepticon relic hunters are not in league with Starscream, what their ultimate goals are is also yet to be revealed
Now me personally, I think TF: Prime is the 2nd best animated version of the Transformers in all its incarnations through the years. however one of the biggest complaints fans had was the hunt for the relics in the mid-season 2 arc.Yet it appears they are now doing the exact same thing in this show...
The episode was kind of lame overall, but I hope the season will get better, Seems like every episode will have one or two cool reveals to keep fans hooked until something significant happens.

Given the title above, I strongly to believe that this just might be very likely the debut of immortal/god-like animal-based Decepticons with unbelievable powers that I have previously, and repeatedly have predicted. What are your thoughts on that?

o.supreme wrote:Initially I thought "Mighty Big trouble" might introduce the combiner toys for RiD15 we have seen are coming out, but now we know the plot is another hunt for the relics story....it may just be another larger than average Decepticon, but likely its Starscream. Clips from the first 3 episodes were shown in the teaser shown at SDCC, including a shot of him at the end, so I'm guessing perhaps this is Starscreams official introductory episode...

Are Starscream and Shadelock are the only Decepticons that will make their debuts on "Big Mighty Trouble, or that a brand-new Decepticon will also debut alongside them?![]()
