Rules in more detail:

• Factions pair up into 2 teams, Preds+Cons and Max+Bots.
• 1 player is nominated to have the 'ball'.
• Everyone enters the arena like normal.
• The player with the 'ball' must win 5 matches in a row (as seen on the bottom of their character page*). If they do this, they score a 'goal' for their factions, the ball is then given to the opponent last defeated and the game starts over.
• If the person with the ball loses, they have been tackled and the ball is given over to the victor who starts the count over again from 0.
• Battles between Preds and Cons, or Max and Bots, count as a 'pass' so their team keeps possession but the player still starts over from zero.
• Turnovers: if someone has the ball and does not join an battle in 250 arena matches (as per the numbered battle links in the character's profile - referee's decision) then they are regarded to have 'fumbled' and the ball goes to the person who fought them last, until it ends up with an active player.
• Usual SPL rules apply, no levelling up or down etc, resetting is fine.
  
  * = It may be an idea to briefly stop playing until a goal can be verified by Sustain, Eeep or Burn.

So began the ICL Championship, warriors battling each other for supremacy, while the rest of Cybertron continued it's own war.

The wave however had done more than any of them had realised, it was a sign, a sign that the end was beginning, and the first of many heralds had arrived to usher it in ...

As unexpectadly as the battle had begun, it had ended. A victor was declared, while a loser lamented.

The war continued as if nothing had ever happened, but the purpose of the ICL had been achieved, mettles were tested, some warriors had proven to be worthy adversaries and would be the first to be destroyed, while those who had proven inferior, would become nothing more than spare parts.

His time was drawing closer, let the testing continue ...
