The movie has very good parts, which cannot be denied, but the parts that are weird and bad, draw much more attention and issues.

It looked a bit cool, especially the star destroyer bit, but still left me feeling sort of Meh.
On a different note though, I finally watched Rogue One Sunday, and it was a great movie!

1) a new hope's death star trench run
2) battle of hoth
To explain the second one, ever since my eyes first set sights on the opening battle of empire, I've been in love with the at-at (helped that my older brother had received it as a Xmas present some years previous) I had micro machine versions, the action fleet version (and in both cases a hoth playset for them to conquer) I did want the newer one released in the latter half on the nineties but wasn't allowed to get it as that point I was deemed to old to be into toys...when will parents learn

Vader`s 30 second fight scenes in Rouge One. Single best Star Wars moment on cinema ever.

NOOOOO!Rodimus Prime wrote:... pick ONE scene or sequence ... could you?
So much good stuff! Too hard to choose.
Don't make me choose RP!
Battle of Hoth.
Battle of Endor.
Escape from the asteroid worm.
Rescuing Han from Jabba.
Chewie and Ewoks teaming up to drive a scout walker.
Young Obi wan taking down Maul.
Obi Wan vs. Jango.
Jango's sonic bombs.
Anikin feeding Padmae floating fruit. (Just kidding!
etc
etc.
etc.
I could keep going all day.
I'm at a tough point here though because after watching Rogue One the other night for the one hundred and elevendiyth time, I'm starting to question what my favorite SW movie is. R1 is just such a good film. Not just SW film, but in general. Great story, great production, good acting, and like Densh said, those 4 minutes of Vader just cleaning house at the end.

That is my #2 choice, if I was allowed to have one. My favorite sequence is the climax of Revenge of The Sith, the fights between Anakin/Obi-Wan and Yoda/Sidious. It had the best visuals and score IMO.Ironhidensh wrote:Vader`s 30 second fight scenes in Rouge One. Dammit Densh, ya beat me to it.
But I wholeheartedly agree. That scene gives me simultaneous chills and fanboy excitement enough to vibrate whatever vessel I’m currently sitting in.
Absolute perfection. *sigh*

5. Obi-Wan tells Luke about his father and the Clone Wars in A New Hope
4. Yoda lifts Luke’s X-Wing out of the Swamp
3. Throne Room sequence in Return of the Jedi
2. Darth Vader in Rogue One
1. Obi-Wan and Anakin on Mustafar
I know many people are going to think I’m crazy but if I kept going I’d probably end up with some moments from The Last Jedi.

Before a new hope's and after revenge, if rumours are correct it features han's legendary kessel run feat. So we'll also probably see han beat lando for it.

About 10 years before A new Hope, if I remember correctly.

I struggle quite a bit letting that scene top my origtrig moments, but I'll be god damned if it ain't close.Ironhidensh wrote:Vader`s 30 second fight scenes in Rouge One. Single best Star Wars moment on cinema ever.
I'm not sure I can pick one scene either. But here's my favs:
-3PO and R2 first landing on Tattoine. I've always loved that first real squabble
-Battle of Hoth. A visual treat even today. Favorite shot is the one ATAT specifically repositioning to nail a passing Speeder. With the slow movement of the ATAT, that takes skill.
-Luke/Vader fight on Bespin. The fight itself obviously, and virtually everything Vader says.
-Death Star II space battle. Phenomenal.
-Luke/Vader fight on DS II. "You are unwise to lower your DEFENSES"
S'what currently comes to mind.
And sorry, after much reflection, including light saber fights, I got no love for the prequels. I think the ONLY thing I like/take from them surprisingly enough, is seeing the actual creation of the Empire within the Senate. Which is what most people find boring

Why must you ask the hard questions???
If I would try, I think my all time favorite would need to be when Darth Maul ignites both blades on his saber. That is goosebump worthy

We have the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. Will episodes 7-9 be known as the Disney trilogy when they're finished? Or will Disney somehow carry on past George Lucas' vision and make episode 10 and beyond?

They did talk about Ryan Johnson having his own trilogy, but that was before the relase of the last jedI,now they've gotten more quiet about it.
