I'm very concerned now about the actor playing 'Kylo Ren'.
But the most recent art design and Puppet stuff is now quite a bit better so that is good.
I am still scratching my head a bit about the Movie though. I think I may stop looking now though so I can go into it mostly cold Though I think I have a broad feel for it already - they've been hinting like crazy about some things to those paying attention so I think now is the time to stop looking.
I'm still more interested in Batman Vs Superman though.

the set's look cool, i like the snow speeder, the x wing, tie fighter, and like the amphibian looking landing craft with captain phasma. But I do miss the classic star wars mustached rebel mechanic.

Nice Black X-wing I wonder if it's just black of it's a Stealth one.
I'd like to see a In movie one of those.
I was looking at all the lego in TRU today actually I can see what it's so popular it's really clever and cute stuff. Though it does suffer from a lot of it being a trifle obscure in origin.
I suspect if they ever sell bagged Lego Star Wars figures post the new Movie those would be really popular... there will be lots to draw on with a new Movie every year.
I hope Disney can concentrate on their other Licensees too though as Lego obviously know what there doing Hasbro can be a bit all over the place sometimes - but the poor quality of many Star Wars Videogames is what really needs addressing.

"Wut"? Lego isn't obscure its the number 1 toy company in the world. If your talking about the themes, city, pirates, castle, and space/sci-fi have always been staples of the brand. Bionicle's been one of the two most profitable themes legos had, the other being star wars. Also the do sell licensed polybagged minifigures as store or convention exclusives. Unlike say kreo, the draw of lego is the set as much as minifigs. And if you want minifigs on there own for the past 5 years legos been putting out blind bag minifigs on the market. Also of course Disney is putting out licenses, a ton of leaked/stolen Chinese blood money Hasbro figures from 3 3/4 inch to 6 inch, and vehicles, are already out on ebay. As for videogames I mean we can't go back 10 years and address the quality of like I don't know, republic commando. We justhave to hope thess new ones are good, it's been like 5, 6 years since the last star, wars game.

Personally I'm hoping it's Rebels as David Tennant did a guest voice as well.

I.e. a lot more things from the cartoons that you would expect there to be as a proportion of the total and a lot less from the Movies as a proportion of the total.
An example of Star Wars vehicles of Obscure origin would be this : http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/75106_Imperi ... lt_Carrier
I just think it's a little odd to be selling £100.00 Lego sets to people based on such obscure origins. But maybe I just have fonder memories of the way the big sets used to be lego Technic style X-wings etc..
Not a Star Wars ship design that made much impression on me I will admit. But then I watch rebels more out of duty than desire anyway - that show is a hard sit at times.
I was saying about Mini figures being something that would be nice to see going forward I am well aware they do them already for other themes - I just meant in a Post Episode 7 sense with all the new characters they will have to pick from with a new movie every year.
------
Not sure I am feeling the accuracy of Finn's likeness at this time in action figure form.
----
The relative lack of Star Wars games in recent times and the poor quality of past ones like that wii game from a few years ago is why I was saying the Star wars Games quality needs addressing even the new Star wars Battlefront has some issues with the outdated quality of it's Human faces for example.
A new FPS and a new Action/tactical Space Combat shooter would be nice for example. Perhaps even a game that played like Assassin's creed or Deus Ex Human Revolution sometime.
Shame that Boba Fett game got cancelled.
---
P.s. There is no way that brunette girl "Rey" (not her real name some say) would be on a desert on a Planet for any length of time and not have legs a lot more tanned than she does when they are not covered up.

It seems much like this years sith infiltrator, and the more recents x-wings and tie fighters, it takes elements from previous versions and refines them.
This falcon set takes the most from the 2011 version

Which took allot from the 2004 version.

Which was a completely new build, from the first version made in 2000

I won't bother adding the ultimate collector's series version because that'd be like comparing classics starscream to the mp version. Two different toys, made for different purposes, at different price points, for different audiences.

I wonder if only BB-8 fits in to the Astro-droid socket or if regular Artoo Units do too - as it seems to have gaps for their shoulders.
If BB-8 was to get shot like Artoo did in Ep IV then his whole head would likely fly off !
----
I bet if they make a slightly larger working BB-8 sometime it will have individual LED's in the body panels like the fule scale one does - that seems fairly easy to implement on any potential future version this one does glow blue in spots though.
Still impressed with the little guy at $150.00 - if anyone gets one - I'd be interested to know if he has any anti collision sensors in him - I'm curious to know if it can stop itself from falling off a table for example. or if it just stops when it hits a wall ?
There is also a Hasbro RC version which sort of gives the game away a bit on how the mechanism might work :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUp-_qkGd5A
(I won't link directly as this feature has been playing up a bit lately on the board)

No you're right, but the visual of it is allot more blatant than normal. I like it, really makes it seem like more of an extremist group/successor to the empire.
