Location as in "Iacon". The locations were being randomly generated for each mission previously. I just gave us HMW admins the ability to control which location each mission type should belong to. I'm finally getting Darryl the ability to manage mission types, which I promised I'd get him a few weeks ago. It took this long to fix all of the other things just to get back to this point finally. I'm excited!

Do the locations display anywhere in the game? There's data for the 4 locations that are currently in the database as well as faction tallies for each location.

Not that I am aware of, in my time here (as player or staff) I don't recall it ever being mentioned.

Can you share the listed locations and, thinking longer term, would it be possible to expand that beyond 4?

Is this still working? I didn't even work on it (I don't think) so not sure what I did that got it working again. Maybe just cleaning up bad code that I keep seeing fixed the problem inadvertently.

Tomorrow I hope to work on fixing stats and restoring XP spent on too much tech spec stats (or figure out why the logic failed) ... or I might just reset the characters and let you guys figure out how to respend your XP. The tech spec bug hasn't cost anyone any xp, once they reset they get all the xp back again, so there shouldn't be any need for the R-word. (Although if any one does have a stat over 10 currently, reset away, they knew the risks... :lol: )

Just putting the cap of 10 back the tech spec and tatic stats would solve the issue.

(Although if you wanted the give the staff the ability to create over-statted NPC's for tournaments etc., then a panel override would be good?)

Faction specific forums both show up when you are logged in now. The site's navigation was never intended to manage factions. I can't keep manually adding them back in only to have them overwritten when the site navigation changes. Just for the record, I am NOT a fan of faction specific forums. The game currently isn't popular enough to warrant having forums dedicated to unique factions. Regardless, I don't want to deal with that now, so links to the Autobot and Decepticon specific forums both show up if you are logged in.

To be clear when I said "faction" before I only meant the Autobot & Decepticon forum not a faction as in RDD (that's what faceypage is for)

And what I meant about the sidebar was if this circled bit

I still am not understanding what you are requesting. The HMW menu that you circled does show up in the Autobot and Decepticon forums respectively. If you are requesting something else, please be very specific. Thanks.

If we're talking 'Bot/'Con forums then they're definitely needed. Folks like to have a bit of privacy during tournaments to help plan things. If you take a look for the Campaign for Cybertron Round 3 discussions you'll see how much fun folks were having deciding on who to "hunt" on the opposing side.
