This invites an interesting question: Masterpiece Vehicons, Cartoon or Toy Accurate? They would certainly look better as the latter but, that's not really the direction the MP line has taken since MP 10.

When it came to the Maximals, ho yeah. The poster child of what can go wrong when the animation studio is given too much freedom, and overall designs are changed past points of no return.

Oh boy.... This also resulted in one of the worst TF ever, where Silverbolt literally just do a handstand to "transform".

Honestly, as much as new figures of those characters would be preferable for most, there are some that I agree this would work for, or at the very least they could make those kind of repaints into new characters and then do proper updates later (Redwing is basically an Armada Screamer-colored G1 Seeker, after all). That Soundwave looks great, the majority won't complain about more Seekers, and I saw art very similar to this somewhere using Prime Soundwave's color scheme and visor face on the G1 body and I loved it.TulioDude wrote:While it's not possible for a celebration of Transformers Animated Tenth anniversary, one way that Hastak could do for future anniversaries, since we are not guaranted to get new molds for Animated characters,is to give their colors to more recent molds.
