The Toy Haul thread (non Transformers only)

I also snagged a large Yellow Lion there for only $3 which was clearly a mistake since the others were $11. I already have a spare Yellow from the same store last winter, but for $3 why not?
On an entirely different note I also got two packages from Japan of the same character from Fate/Gran Order. AmiAmi sent me figma 350 Saber/Altria Pendragon [Lily] and Good Smile Shop sent along EX-041 figma Archer/Altria Pendragon from Wonder Festival last summer. Of the I think 21 Fate figma released this far I'm only missing four (original Rin, Saber Lily Avalon, Saber Extra, and Gilgamesh) and have three of the upcoming figures pre-ordered. Gotta catch 'em all!

I already had the Batman but these ones have a cloth cape (instead of the much more rigid rubber cape) which is great cos he can sit down properly and seeing as how the awesome Batmobile they can sit in is down to about £45 on Amazon at moment (used to be about £99) I'm veeery tempted to get that too. Although it is bloody huge since it's to scale and I don't have any shelf space for it so I may have to invest in new shelves too.
@carytheone I wouldn't mind an affordable Mega Man X figure (the first game on SNES is one of my fave ever... crazy prices on it now in CEX...£140 for that one game boxed...and I sold mine for a tenner a decade ago, doh doh doh) Which is best for features and price?
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

I had this as a toy back in the early 80's and I played with it until it fell apart. And when we moved houses, it never came with us. I finally found one at a decent price and it was in nearly mint condition. So I took the plunge.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that I picked up a Voltron 84 Legendary Black Lion last week. More recently I got figma King of Fighters Kyo and Iori. Going to be sticking them with my Figuarts Terry, hope they look OK together.

DiaBattles (KO). Its an ok fig. Not my style though. I cant really get into any of his other modes that much.
As for a quick review of the KO, well the plastic is not great. It feels brittle and the cuts arent straight. Also, I do not know if this is the same with the original fgure but those metal stickers dont do anything. The magnetic feet on the little guys do not adhere to them. There is also stress issue, as in certain things take much more force than they should. And some cockpit wndows are loose. Also, the motor for the revealing head gimmick gets stuck. But aside from that, its alright.

20 days. My box was held hostage during TWENTY FREAKING DAYS in Canadian limbo. So worth the extra shipping money. This make Tanya over 80$CAN. Sigh...
Anyway, she's my first ever Nendoroid so let's see how she is...

Out of the packaging, there's that distinct smell. Like STRONG "new car" smell. A bit like sour milk even. Plastic is rubbery but still solid. I'm confident to handle all components without fear. Unlike Revoltechs.

I LOVE the faces and the fact that they are so easy to swap. Also, due to the flexible plastic, nothing can snap off too easily. Like Queen's Blades Revoltech Noa's staff. ((Shudder))

The Umaru faces I got a few days ago can finally be put to some use.
Tanya is cute. CUTE!
I discovered a bit late that the hands are swappable too. Allowing Tanya to be "GROSSLY OFFENSIVE". Even though her troops would never understand the reference.

Overall, yeah, a bit overpaid but well worth it. A harem of Nendos is on the way. I can't wait to have some more fun with those!
Man, this Transformers collector have just open a new Pandora Box....

You don't know what Nendoroids are? Just imagine FUNKO POPS, but 1000 times better (with the price to match).

If you are into anime, about every characters is turned into a Nendo.

They even take licenses from Disney, Marvel and other Western video games like Overwatch.

Head, hair peices, faces, ALL parts are swappable allowing some crazy creations.

I have a harem worth of Nendoroid on their way, mostly from Mandrake. Man, I can't wait! (but I must, sigh...) Picture below is one of my most anticipated, Shimakaze from KanKole.

Made in Abyss is a freaking MASTERPIECE. Gotta love Japan for treatings kids going on an adventure with NO politicaly-correct-familly-friendly safety net. The kids go into a danger zone, $#!£ gonna get real!
By the way, FMA Nendos:

On Mandrake, only those two above. Pretty expensive each...
https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/lis ... ?soldOut=1
Ebay is a wee bit better for once:
https://www.ebay.ca/sch/Animation-Art-C ... st&_sop=15
Just a heads-up. Nendoroids are usually 4000JPY when they come out. Over time, the price may come down or go WAY up, depending of the production run and the demand. Many Nendos I bought from Mandrake are from series I don't even watch. They were bought because they were cute and cheap. Some as cheap as 800JPY!
Go, have a look on Mandrake. Find some that are cute and cheap and have fun!
https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/lis ... pCount=240
If you buy any, be sure to keep them OUT OF THE REACH OF YOUR SMALL CHILDREN.
Your kids WILL eat the parts like Nerds Candy.
Oh, and avoid the "Petit" series. Those are like those tiny rubber Smurfs only.
-------------------------------------
By the way, if you wonder where my first ever Nendo above come from, she's the main character of Youjo Senki. A fantastic series:
On the front line of the war, there's a little girl. Blond hair, blue eyes and porcelain white skin, she commands the army with lisping voice. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff. But in reality, she is one of Japan's most elite salarymen, reborn as a little girl after angering a mysterious being X who calls himself "God." And this little girl, who prioritize over anything else efficiency and her own career, will become the most dangerous being amongst the sorcerers of the imperial army...
