Yeah I never read the instructions considering they're Legends class.

I played around with Generations Roadbuster and find the missile launcher too sensitive for comfort. I HATE spring-loaded missiles because that garbage get lost way too easily. So what to do with the damn missile? Roadbuster needed one more weapon so why not make that missile a mace? AND IT WORK! Roadbuster hold his new mace pretty securely. As if it was an intended function. So that's pretty nice.

Emgo made a random Primus review.

I have him TWICE. The original and the 2010 version. But I never knew it had claw things in his legs and the same legs have details that push out when you push the cities in from behind. Hurt the fingers though.

Just discovered the Battle Blades Prime mold can turn some of its kibble into blasters. Looks really cool and cleans up the robot mode immensely, but I only discovered it when I saw the hinged, molded pieces inside. Probably not the first person to mention this feature, what that's what the thread's for, right?

If you never had yours brand new with instructions, of course you woundn't notice it right away. Same thing with my Primuses. Even though I got my 2010 brand new, I never bothered to look at the instructions. :oops:

That’s exactly what happened to me here. :oops:

Prime was boxed with instructions, but it seemed more fun to guess his transformation. Took ages but I regretted nothing... until now!

I just got PotP Skrapnel, and I have found a makeshift attachment point for Prime Masters in Beast Mode: the two tabs on the abdomen. They can hold the Prime Master via the cavities in the back of the legs. Two points:

1) The Prime Masters in Spark Mode has to go feet in the back, the heels cause clearance issues otherwise
2) It's not secure at all, so don't move him too much.

This works on all version of the mold, including Chop Shop and T30.

Got another one: never realized that TR Sixshot's knees could lock at a 90 degree bend. Helps him hold more extreme poses despite the looseness. I've probably been mis-transforming one of his modes this whole time :-P

Reveal the shield Jazz. I've owned this figure for 7 years...always transformed without instructions and never figured out that his roof locks into place This caused me to think he sucked because of a floppy chest :HEADHURTS:

Why? Magnus always have the "high shoulders" in his design while optimus do not. Those smokestacks are more shoulder towers for Magnus than the tiny smokestack for Optimus. That's why stacks down for Prime and Up for Magnus. It's to preserve their natural classic look.
