Don't know if you already knew about this, I don't think I've seen it on the web.
Did you know you can storage Sixshot's guns on his back?
There is a small tab under the guns that fits perfectly on the slots used to tab the wings in altmode.

I had recently found out on my own that the blue pieces on the back of ROTF Leader Optimus Prime’s legs could be pulled out to become more movie accurate, that DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee’s chest could lock in place, and that Animated Voyager Shockwave could be bent forward at the chest as well as his thighs separating from his torso and extending.

Yes. You are right. There is no Afterburner. I wasn't able to incorporate him into this form.

I hadn't played with my movie Ironhide in a while so I decided to transform him. (I really like the realistic truck mode don't judge me.) I usually keep him in bot mode because his arms are in a very awkward spot in truck mode and always kinda dragged on any surface I try to roll him on. I learned from looking at our gallery that there are actually some small angled pegs so that when you snap his arms together correctly they attach to his undercarriage and don't drag.

I found a way to stabilize Volcanicus' torso mode without an outrageously priced upgrade kit.

All you need are any POTP combiner feet (for this I used Elita-1's) and a set of Volcanicus' hands.

First, plug the hands into his torso as usual, then take the feet and turn the ankle joint as far as it can go inwards (tip, put the feet on the groun and then tilt the ankle joints towards each other so they are equallly bent). Unpeg Grimlock's arms a little bit so you can finagle them into place. Take the feet and peg the ankle pegs into the thumbs of the back of Grimlock's torso. When this is completed, the bottoms of the feet should be face outward on the back. Then peg Grimlock's arms on the heeds of the combiner feet to entirely stabilize and widen Volcanicus.

I will post pics, but currently I am unable to.

Could you please post pictures? I just can't follow your instructions - I don't know what you mean by thumbs on the back.

Adding 2007 Salvage's blades on the front is just stylistic for me. Also note Slash's new gun mode, ala Predaking.

That looks fantastic madeus! Love the addition of wreckages weapons they really add to Volcanuis design. Slash also works there as a gun mode so well done :-)

I impressed myself, the gun in use for Slash is TR Perceptor by the way. It's so nice to not have to worry about spending 60 bucks on a kit.

The back/roofs DO align!

There are some issues concerning aligning the car's roof onto the body of the figure. In order to properly attach the back/roof top of the mold, the mid chest panel located in front of the torso must be tilted slightly forward and attached to the small indentation under the figure's "car hood". This will allow the back frame to straighten and get the two pegs on the windshield to lock into the two slots at the back of the car hood.

Just don't lose them. That is probably why you have seen figures like that. A tackle box is a life saver for small parts.
