I happened to have a front row view of the filming that happened yesterday July 19th, 2010 in front of Hotel 71 here in Chicago.

Missed the stuff they did earlier today but caught what looks like a messed up stunt take.

They had been practicing it beforehand about 4 times the same as all the other scenes and well you'll see:

A Seibertron.com friend had an awesome bird's eye view of the action going on yesterday and today on Wacker Dr. in Chicago.

How do we know do you ask? He was able to take some very clear short videos of some more Michael Bayhem in action.

And if you watch closely in the 3rd video, you may see this scene in the outtakes with Bumblebee, as the popular star seems to 'mess up' a stunt he was involved in (in his car mode of course).

Check out the three videos below for an idea of the enormity of the effects, and the massiveness of the mayhem that is being filmed for next summer's feature.

Anyone else noticed Michael Bay yelling CUT like 5 times in the last video and the soldiers just kept shooting some decepticreep !!

Hmm, I wonder what he was supposed to do, rather than just sit there.

All this filming must be a popular event; you can clearly hear people cheer at the end of that video.

I don't think it was Bumblebee who messed up. If you watch the third video, you can see a car flip and knock down a traffic light. I don't think that was to happen. And maybe the guy driving Bumblebee heard CUT! and stopped or Bumblebee will be transforming in this scene.

Check out @ 36 seconds of the Firefight and Parachuting video . One of a paratroopers (5th to land) hits some of the set debris REALLY hard just before his landing. He tumbles awfully hard after that. Hope that kid's alright.

Ouch. :shock:

That traffic light has got to be a set piece. Look at the rigging, and how the traffic light itself sparks and smokes when it hits the ground. Only in the Bayverse would traffic lights contain chemicals that burst into flames upon impact with the ground...

I saw the paratrooper wiping out, too. I feel a little bad about it, but I totally cracked up. Poor kid really did hit hard! You could see one of the infantry run up to help him up, though, so I'm sure even if he was a little hurt, they got him help quick.
