Scale wise is it the same height as the G1 prime? I have to admit the Black Convoy version looks pretty sweet.

Unless you can get it cheap dont buy it. It is TINY, not even as big as G1 Prime. Its great in bot mode and well articulated, but looks lame in alt mode and like i said it is tiny so only buy it if you can find it dead cheap.

I've got both the red and black versions, they both rule and are worth buying... although the red version is far more reasonably priced.

It is quite small, I want to say it is only 3 or 4 inches tall, so about the size of a G.I.Joe.

I could be very far off though.

I tell everyone this because his price seems to be rising a bit. He is a collector piece and not a toy. Meaning, he can be fragile, does have some easily lost or broken pieces and his paint can chip pretty easy. As long as you're aware of those things and don't act like a gorilla with your figures, you should be ok. Like others have already said, he is a very cool piece. I don't know why but my favorite pieces have to be the matrix and the stand. Go get one.

Weapon: Light-Saber Sword
THS G1 Convoy is a simply beautiful toy with an equally beautiful and complex transform. Due to his diminutive size, however, there are many parts that are easy to snap off. Most are easily snapped right back on though.

The figure is, for the most part, die cast metal, and the paint job is simply stellar. The trailer is plastic with very little to no die cast, but the paint on it shines just like metal!

Highly recommended, this one.

Buy 'em. The black one has extra pieces to give him a different enough look from the red, and love the black variants.

The red is good too. I hope you decide to get one of them because they are well worth the price.

right now i'm leaning towards getting him but i haven't seen him for less than 60 bucks and i think that's a little too much.

That's not too bad. I think it was $50 when it was first released, so a $10 markup is acceptable imo.

Yup he is tiny. Not worth $60 no matter who you are. For that price you could buy a leader class optimus prime and still have change.
